Hopson Construction did an amazing job on my home remodel. Kitchen, bathrooms and even Sheetrock the entire garage.

Dwight and his partner, Joseph, were smooth talkers in saying they could get my projects done that I really needed to get done. They talked like they could do everything. They even volunteered to do some extra stuff that I didn't even have on my list that they pointed out to me. They never did anything. The scope of work was not much anyway. They needed some upfront money to get things started. I am not sure why because I purchased all the supplies and materials. I was desperate, so I went ahead and paid them up front some money. Was I a fool or what?Yes, I was. The estimates that I had from other contractors were giving me a minimum of three weeks' time frame to complete work. Dwight told me he could have work done in less than two weeks. So, I chose Dwight Hobson, Hopson Construction. I'm not sure how he would even get the work done in a month because they only worked a few hours each day and not even every day. Things were moving pretty slowly. My brand new kitchen cabinet's look like they were installed by grease monkeys. My cabinets are now stained. I tried everything to get them clean. I still see finger and hand prints. Each cabinet only has four screws to the wall. They did not screw the cabinets into each other. Therefore, the cabinet can easily be shaken off the wall. Putting the cabinets together was not flushed properly. The worst part is that they did not cut my quartz countertops correctly. I have to buy new slabs of quarts. One little section was already glued down, and it hung over the cabinet too much, not giving enough room for the refrigerator to fit in. They were so proud of the electrical work they claimed to do in the kitchen. (Putting in a new outlet), Jokes on me, they didn't finish and there is no electricity coming from the wires. They did do some sheetrock work in the kitchen and bathroom. They were supposed to paint it and match the existing wall. They sprayed the texture all over my bathroom. It is all over the bathtub, shower area, and floors. They have white mass from the quartz all over my new floors very difficult to get off of my new floor. They have made a mess in my house. I had to terminate their lack of service. They are refusing to get me back my money. Dwight told me he would go pick up cabinets 3 miles from where the work was being performed. So I didn't have the cabinets delivered. An hour later, Joseph told me to get the cabinets. Which, I did. They did this back and forth. It was like the right hand not talking to the left hand. The two of them changed their minds too often. I just want my money back. I need to hire real workers. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. I found out after they do not even have a license.

Request a quote for a carpet replacement. I live in a apartment and the one that was in my master bedroom was old. Dwight responded fairly quickly and was able to work around my work schedule. He did an amazing job installing the new carpet and put my bed frame together for me. He also painted my living room and kitchen.
