Brandon was really good! I had already had a couple of drain clearing handymen look into it and failed, but Brandon came and fixed it within the hour. He really knows his job and is super nice as well! Am really glad I found Hopke and Chuck!

Do not risk doing business with this company. They came out to snake my kitchen drain and broke a pipe in the basement while doing so. The guy ""fixed"" the broken pipe and left. Three months later I learned the pipe was not only not fixed at all, but the guy that did the plumbing work was not even a licensed plumber. I ended up with dangerous, raw sewage leaking all over my storage room for months. It's been 2 months since having it fixed, having the sewer damage cleaned and the room restored and personal items ruined. The owner of this company hasn't taken any responsibly and their insurance company is totally unresponsive. Poor integrity and customer service. I understand mistakes happen. Just make it right.

Hopke came out to my home to fix a leaking shower head. Got it fixed quickly and at a reasonable price. This was an issue that looked easy on YouTube but in reality was much more involved and a different fix. Would have been a day of misery for me to try this on my own.

Will definitely call them back when the next crisis occurs!

Wow. So, the first day in our new house the sewer backed up. I had used Hopke about six years ago and they were still in my phone so I gave them a call. Within an hour, they had someone onsite! The roots and the old pipes fought their technicians the whole way. (Eventually, they referred us to a company that excavated the half the front yard and fixed the pipes out to the street.) Next day, we realized there was a related issue with the old pipe and Hopke sent someone right out to take care of it, at no charge! I am not easily impressed and I don't usually write reviews but I am blown away by the service we received. I hope you never have to have a sewer repair done but if you do, I can't recommend Hopke highly enough!!

I called Hopke as they had recently serviced a unit in our association with a main line back up. Since I had issues with 2nd level toilet not flushing well, I was concerned it was main line issues. I called and asked if
they thought I should be proactive and have my main line cleaned (since my 2nd level toilet was not flushing) to be proactive on the issue. Answer was yes. Quote $195.00. Appointment made.

Tech arrives (2+ hours late) and says a 2nd level toilet would never be impacted by main line prior to a sewer back up. Must be the toilet itself or build up. I was a bit surprised since I clearly stated the issue before the appointment. He then said that since the cost of ""showing up"" was going to be $165.00 so they might as well auger it out.

Tech spent 15 minutes tops on ""servicing"" the toilet and did test flush (not with me watching) then took my money and ran. First flush after they were gone - same problem.

I went to their website (should have done this first to read reviews), and found a bunch of coupons for services, one of which was for a full hour toilet service which no one mentioned to me. According to the owner, if you don't ask for the best price, you don't get it.

I called the owner to inquire on all of the above, stating I felt a little slighted and was concerned that maybe the auguring of toilet wasn't done well enough. All I got was how I should be the one to understand...there was no offer to come out and re-service or what can I do to make this right? (I would have been very happy with an offer to come back out and re-service 1 more time or a simple honoring of the online coupon.) His response after discussion was ""well, now you know that you need a new toilet"". I guess I need a new sewer and drain company too!

company owner showed up within an hour and gave me a great price and fantastic service. He threw in some odds and ends plumbing and did not charge me. I can't say enough about his knowledge, expertise, and concern for doing a top-notch job. Call Hopke Sewer and drain because they truly are the best!!!

Wow! They have not been out to do the service yet, but I am completely wowed by their customer service so far. Within 10 minutes of requesting a quote, they provided a fair, upfront total cost. On top of that, they are sending a plumber right away this afternoon. I'm very, very impressed.
Update: awesome, fast service for the price quoted. The technician was super friendly. I highly recommend!

We had a mainline backup in our house I tried calling Roto rooter at 8pm at 8am on a Sunday after still no response I called Hopke and the technician was at my house 2 hours later and fixed my problem quickly and was very helpful explaining everything the cost was cheaper than we anticipated even with the weekend emergency rate I would recommend this company

I called this company to simply come out and disconnect my dishwasher. My house filled with smoke and it tripped the breaker, I just wanted it unplugged, they are less than a mile from me. I asked how much it would cost and he said $245.00. I gasped! Why does it cost $245.00? He explained ""Because it's Christmas."" Well it's Christmas eve morning and that is no reason to charge that much for unplugging a dishwasher. SHAME ON THEM for using Christmas to gauge people!
