Thank you Yelpers!!! I gave Paul a call but got his voicemail but got a text back from him within the hr. Schedule for him to come onsite to my house to help out with installing a new kitchen sink, install a Nest system, stucco work on the house, and seal up and old dryer vent. I like how we worked through texting since I am usually in the phone and respond quicker by text so this was a plus!!!

Paul came over on time and as scheduled. He is a friendly person who took time for me to go over details on what I wanted him to do that day. My old contractor flaked out in me for the kitchen project - Paul just stepped in and started to work on it. I was a bit worried at first since it appeared that removing the kitchen faucet was harder then intiallu expected but Paul persevered and eventually got the stripped screw to come off for him to complete the work. Paul was courtesy and conscience of who I had at the house but just went straight to work, didn't take any breaks, didn't stop for lunch or anything. Hard worker!!!

I am going to be using Paul for other projects around my house and glad that I had an opportunity to work and trust the reviews given about him.

This review is based on one experience with Paul:

Paul did well hanging a couple of mirrors for me. One mirror was very heavy and before drilling into the wall, he patiently held the heavy mirror up against the wall while my wife and I had a long conversation about whether or not to reposition the mirror downwards a few inches.

Both mirrors are hanging level and feel secure. Paul also did some miscellaneous work repairing gable vent screening in my attic. He responded to all my questions while doing the work and helped me better understand the features of my house.

Paul showed up within 10 minutes of our scheduled time, and stayed the full two hours from the time of his arrival. Paul was able to come to my house on a Sunday at 1pm, which allows me to go to work and stay at my work during weekdays. I look forward to working with him in the future.

Before calling Paul, I did look over his one negative yelp review. There was some complaint about paint colors not matching after patching (a wall?). In terms of patching up holes in my walls---I view it as my responsibility to have the right color paint for my contractors. But more importantly, I wish the other reviewer would have posted a photo of the work she had a complaint with. All the photos on this yelp page comprise of before-and-after photos showing high quality workmanship.

Paul recently did all the necessary finishing work on my garage. His work is very orderly and clean and proceeds without a hitch. He is thoughtful and detail oriented. He is a good listener and uses his experience to understand the scope of the job and what considerations may lay behind it. His quotes are well considered and cost effective.

Paul also demonstrated that he has the ability to work with the homeowner in making changes on the fly, as he did with me when we decided to add extra cabinets on another wall. Because he had made a template for the other cabinets he installed, it was a snap to go right ahead and put up the others with a minimum of effort.

As other people mention, he is very comfortable in his own shoes and has a quiet assurance about himself. His work reflects that. As a former construction person myself, I found in Paul's work the little extra touches that a true professional includes, such a running a bead of caulk around all joints and seams before painting is begun.

Without any hesitation, I would recommend Paul for any type of work around the house. We will definitely use his services again.

Paul came on a short notice to fix up some stuff in my home. There was some problem in the plumbing in the bathroom showers in my house, the water pressure was really low. While all the other handymen gave a quote of $500+, Paul charged me $50 an hour and finished up plumbing and repaired my ceiling fan and a fixed up a few holes in the wall in under 4 hours. I highly recommend him without any reservations.

I recently contacted Paul for his services for moving assistance as I relocated down south. He arrived promptly and took down my bed frame, curtain rod and repaired holes in the wall. Matt came out to fix a vent that was almost three stories up in the back of our house. He arrived on time, was super friendly, and his price was very reasonable. We are very pleased with the work Matt did and will definitely hire him again to help with issues around the house.

Paul's name was given to me by a friend who spoke very highly of him and his skills. It was perfect timing as we wanted our dryer vent re-routed. Paul came out, assessed what needed to be done and off he went to Home Depot to buy parts. He did a great job and left NO mess. As the other reviews stated, he was on-time, very friendly and I highly recommend him. He will be the only person I call from now on to help with my ""around-the-house"" projects.

Paul is everything you want in a home helper. He's always on time, he has a great ability to size up what needs to be done, and he dives in. He's strong AND great at communication, too. I needed help getting my 84 year old Mom organized to move a long distance. Her big house was needing to get sold and we had a ton of stuff to do, stage, organize and move a house and garage full of stuff. Paul was great, and though he's a big dude, he doesn't intimidate you by cussing or getting too aggressive or slamming things around. This keeps the stress level down. Believe me, I've moved a lot! When you have to move a senior loved one, you need someone like Paul, with his people skills AND brawn! My mom had 10 heavy, tall filing cabinets to give away and we had to get rid of them fast. But we couldn't get a charity out there fast enough to pick up the cabinets. I was worried that they'd rust into scrap metal on the curb (heavy file cabs are hard to get rid of). With Paul's help we got the contents emptied into boxes. Then Paul got all ten file cabs to the curb, and within 2 minutes this guy in a big truck pulled up to take them all away. He said he saw the ad on Craigslist. I said, ""What ad?"" Paul had spent all of one minute putting a free ad with photo on Craigslist from his phone. Did I say he's a problem solver, too? He's great, I wish he lived in my hometown, I'd have him tackle my chore list every week!

Paul is amazing! He answered my call right away, I sent him photos of the work to be done, and he was here 10 minutes before the scheduled time. He worked diligently and asked me questions along the way to ensure that I was pleased with the work. Paul was done in about 2 hours and our new kitchen light fixtures look wonderful! He even hauled away the old fixtures and boxes. I will definitely be calling him in the future with a list of other ""honey-do"" work!
