As far as handyman service goes, I couldn't want more than I got from Paul. He made time for my dishwasher repair on short notice, showed up on time, got the job done quickly and cleanly, and helped me diagnose an unrelated electrical problem. I really appreciated that Paul was responsive and available the same week! Paul's work was exactly what we wanted. We hired Paul to install custom floating shelves and decorations in the nursery and mount a leaning floor mirror to the wall. He was fast, courteous, and did a great job! Paul did a great job assembling and mounting 4 cabinets in our garage. From the beginning he always responded to my yelp emails within 8 hours. Don't try and call him, the best way is to communicate through yelp directly.

We set a time to meet and he first came and looked at the job and then gave an estimate. When he showed up for the job, he was on time and prepared with the parts we discussed previously. As you may guess, assembling 4 large cabinets is not an easy task. Paul easily completed this within half a day and mounted them to the studs at the same time.

I recommend Paul for any job around the house that might be to much for someone who doesn't have the time to do it. In fact, I will be using Paul for future projects around the house.

I found Paul on Yelp a couple of weeks ago. He was very fast to respond and easy to work with. I scheduled an appointment for this morning. He repaired one of the windows in our kitchen and rehung a towel rack in bathroom. He did a great job! I would hire him again.

We hired Paul twice to do a variety of projects on a rental property. He was quick to reply with a quote, set up a time to come and was professional. He did a range of projects from electrical, minor construction (installing a ceiling fan in a bathroom), hanging levelor blinds, and painting. His prices were reasonable given the list of to do's that we asked him to fix.

Short version: Paul was extremely unprofessional, did not stand by his work, and didn't fix our problem while still charging us $225 for what amounted to less than an hour of labor. Might be okay as a handyman but do not ask him to do any plumbing.

Long version: I'm going to be very factual so there is no confusion about what kind of work you get from Paul from Honey Do!. Our toilet has been clogging for a while. We bought a new plunger, toilet friendly solvent, even a toilet snake, and though we could sometimes get it to clear, the problem would always return after a single use. We needed professional help so we looked around and came across Honey Do!. He said he could fix our toilet and do some other things we needed done around the house, sounded perfect!

Paul came out and was very friendly and after some vigorous plunging was able to get the toilet to flush cleanly. I was surprised plunging did the trick, but it seemed to work, so we paid him and all was well, until we actually tried to use the toilet...

After one use, it didn't work. No problem, Paul told us he had a 30 day guarantee, so we contacted him thinking he'd come see what the real problem was since clearly plunging is not the answer. That's when it went downhill, and downhill fast...

First, he was going to charge us another $75 plus parts to fix it. When I brought up the 30 day guarantee, he said he already fixed the problem, and if it's broken again it's because we clogged it again, blaming us. He then got offending saying ""you don't get to tell me how to run my company"" and ""you're wrong"". He said he was done with me. So, I just said I would write this review, at which point he called me a ""coward"" and a ""scumbag"" and said he would blacklist me so no handyman would ever work for me again.

So again, extremely unprofessional, does not stand by his work, did not fix the problem. I highly recommend going to someone else, especially for plumbing issues.
