I replaced a standard height toilet with ADA compliant. I called 3 plumbers (all highly rated on Yelp) and Honest Plumbing (Tim) quoted the lowest install/take away old price for a quality brand. He completed the job efficiently and cleaned up after the install. He gave a 2-hr window and texted me as he was headed to our home which I appreciated.

I wanted to replace all the trim on my Guest shower/tub combo and had Tim from Honest Plumbing come over to do the job. He was very professional and gave me some options as to the labor on the new tub faucet (he had to do some work on the pipe to adapt the new faucet). I really appreciated his expertise and friendly manner! He cleaned up everything before he left and charged me a very fair price. I'll definitely use him again!

Honest Plumbing definitely is a perfect name for this company, because I have never been treated so fairly by a plumber or service technician of any kind for that matter. I called for a drain cleaning, but also for advice on how to replace my own drain system. Tim cleared my drain and gave me every tip in his playbook to help me with any future problems. He mapped out my entire interior and exterior drain system for a fraction of the price of another quote for the same service. Tim was professional, personable and showed great integrity. He cleaned everything after he was finished and showed great respect for my home and family. Speaking of family, we were talking while he worked and he is a dedicated family man himself who works a long hard day and still runs home at the end of the day, to shower and take his girl to gymnastics. Being a good father does not have bearing on being a good plumber, but it does speak volumes to his character. Tim will forever have my business and I will send anyone I know to him with full confidence that they will be in good hands!

Had a leak in an outside underground pipe so I turned off the water at the meter and contacted Honest Plumbing. Tim indicated he had a job before he could get to me but came as soon as he could (about 2 hours) He arrived ready to go and quickly found and repaired the leak. Even though we did not discuss the cost of the repair, the final bill was very reasonable. I recommend Honest Plumbing

What can I say, this man lives up to his company name. I recently had a large plumbing leak in my house that required my insurance company to get involved. Little did I know that insurance companies do NOT pay for plumbing repairs (only the damage the leak causes). After meeting with a leak detector, a restoration company and 3 unscrupulous plumbers, I met Tim Short, the owner of Honest Plumbing. The first three plumbers came in with bids that were close to $10,000!!! I recently got laid off and the expense was an overwhelming shock to say the least. After crying to a friend of mine, she recommended that I call Tim. I am so blessed that I did. He came over within a few days, accessed the damage and recommended a complete house re-pipe. When I asked his cost, his price came in drastically lower than the other 3 bids I got. I asked him to repeat what he told me and then I wanted to hug him. I started to second guess why he was so much less then the others and he told me that he was not in the business to gouge his customers. He was open and honest to a tee! He worked well (and quickly) with all the other vendors that had to be here to clean up this mess and he made me feel comfortable trusting him. He talked about what needed to be done, explained how he was doing it throughout the process and was just an all around nice guy. He showed up on time and kept at the job until I was happy. We talked about other things that I want to do in the house and he offered some great advice for future repairs. I trust him COMPLETELY.

No one likes to HAVE to call a plumber but if you want the best, don't look any further than Tim at Honest Plumbing.

someone to help the installation. I got a hold of Tim via Yelp messaging, he responded immediately and was able to come by the same day.  He showed up right on time and did an excellent job installing our system.  Heeven took the extra step to help to fix a small leakage.

Whether it be a minor leak fix or installation of a new drainage system, he will think outside the box to provide you with the best and right solutions for the job. Tim even came back the next day to make some minor adjustments and made sure I was 100% satisfied. He even looked at an additional potential leak I had spotted and gave me advice and referrals on how to handle it. Unfortunately, we have had 2 different plumbing emergencies within 1 month. One issue with a sewage line leak and several weeks later, another issue with the hot/cold water valve for the washer that broke off and would not stop spewing water. HOWEVER fortunately for us... Tim Short, (the owner) came right away and had no problem driving from Santa Maria to Lompoc after we made several calls to some plumbers in Lompoc who wouldn't be able to assess the problem or provide an estimate in a reasonable amount of time. He was quick, professional, had fair prices, thoroughly explained the problems, wrote out a very detailed invoice, and really prioritized our needs. I highly recommend him!

I had a problem with water leaking from the toilet shutoff valve so I called a plumber with a very high star review. As it appeared the job needed to be done in the after hours because it seemed the shutoff valve would shut the water to all businesses. He said he could not help me because it required working after hours and he would not do that. I called HONEST plumbing and talked to Tim. He told me if required he would do the job after hours. He was willing and able to do the job. He stopped by took a look at the damage and looked around the set up and said you do have a shut off valve in here, I can shut off the water without disturbing the other businesses. He did the job in a short amount of time and his price was very reasonable. This business really does care to do a good Honest job.
