We had water leaking from our garage ceiling below our master bathroom on a Saturday. Joe returned my call promptly and was here in an hour...on a Saturday. He fixed the faucet on the tub. His pricing was very very fair, especially for a weekend. We highly recommend Joe at Honest Plumbing!

Honest Plumbing is exactly as advertised. Joe visited on a Saturday and quickly assessed the problem and solution. He clearly explained what was causing my issue and how to fix it. He worked quickly and cleaned everything up when done. Pricing is very reasonable and well worth it knowing my problem is solved in a quality manner. I have a rental unit in Denver and called Honest Plumbing to take a look at a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. When I called to schedule, Jessica was extremely nice and they could get to my unit quickly. I asked how much they charge and Jessica said they charge per hour and not per project; she followed up to say they charge a $69 service charge to investigate the problem and then apply that to the future charges should there be any. She also said the technicians have all the parts they need accessible there in their service vehicle.

Josh, the technician shows up within the 2-hour window they provided and found out it was a leaking toilet seal (around the base where the toilet meets the drain). He also suggested he replace the flapper unit inside the toilet.

Relieved that it wasn't a major, in-wall pipe leak, Josh then said it would cost $650 to fix. WHAT! I asked, 'how much do you charge an hour!?' We charge $160 he replied. If you've ever fixed a toilet ring on a toilet, you'll understand my shock (drain the toilet, two screws take off the toilet, remove the old wax ring and clean the area and put a new wax ring in place). I just checked Home Depot toilet rings $9.89 and flapper kits are $13.97).

For a full time, 'honest plumber' to take over three hours at $160 hour to change a toilet ring and a toilet fill kit is just not honest. I'm sorry, $23 in parts, $625 in labor? Hope this helps should you hear the 'we don't charge per hour' (nonsense since the technician know exactly what they charged per hour). Low fee to get out there, exceptionally high price to do the work.

Great company, Joe the owner is excellent, he came out in a pinch, fixed the urgent things for a fair price and helped me figure out some next steps without ever giving the feeling that he was trying to upsell me on anything. Highly recommended.

I have now had Joe out to our house twice to do some plumbing work. One job involved replacing some bad solder joints on the sprinkler vacuum valve, and the other involved swapping out my old sump pump for a new unit with battery backup. I must say that I could not be happier with Joe's quick and clean work, and prices that I felt were extremely fair.

For the sump pump job I had purchased the sump pump as well as all the pipe / fittings that I had expected to need, but of course forgot a few items. Joe went to Home Depot to pick up the missing components, and also grabbed some short lengths of PVC from his house, which will allow me to return several sections that I had purchased.

Overall if you are looking for a truly ""Honest"" plumber, give Joe a call.

This is a late review, but I wanted to acknowledge that the owner of this company, Joe Gonzales, totally lives up to the name of the firm. He installed a hot water heater and did some spigot work for me in November. It was a big expenditure for my household so trustworthiness was paramount. He's very straightforward when it comes to scope of work, price estimates, scheduling, etc. Very good at communicating through phone, text and email. I really like his simple and direct approach. He's not ""salesmany"" (and obviously that's a good thing). Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Joe. I booked over email and had prompt replies. He was on time for the job, and did a great job with a more difficult than normal faucet and disposal install. He was upfront with cost, and a nice guy. We will use him for repeat jobs. Oh, and he accepts credit cards and did not seem to mind at all that I used one.

VERY, VERY Satisfied! I had hot water heater problems and call Honest Plumbing on a Sunday and they were here within a couple of hours. It was just the pilot light, but they checked everything out and found it is in working order. He explained everything and also made sure I could light the pilot on my own. I would recommend them over and over again. I will be a repeat customer that is for sure!!! As a single Mom, I so appreciate their honesty and help!!
