Excellent service! Ryan showed up on time, did quick work, and for great price! He saved the day Highly recommend

Honest Plumbing came highly recommended to us and lived up to the recommendation.
Excellent service started with the pleasantness of the woman who answered the phone and took the message when we called the Honest Plumbing phone number.
Joel and I were impressed by how quickly Ryan got back to us, his professionalism and knowledge, the quality of the work done by Ryan, Stanley, Augustine and his other worker, the thorough clean up and the fair price.
We needed a leak repaired in old plumbing and it was a tricky job since we also needed the bathroom faucet handles replaced in the tub with ADA faucet handles.
The new faucet multi assembly, which was the only one that worked for us, did not fit into the existing plumbing.
Ryan found a way to re-pipe by accessing the pipes from the linen closet in back of the bathroom, and thus was able to install the new assembly without any damage to the existing tile over the bathtub.
He also created a great access from the linen closet, with a handy door in the event that work needs to be done on that plumbing in the future.
Thank you, Ryan, and team for your great work!

I had Honest Plumbing take care of some exploded pipe damage that was covered by my insurance. They insisted on doing all the work, including replacing the whole kitchen, floors and loads of other things. Besides the experience working with them as harrowing (missed appointments, weird estimates, miscommunication with the insurance company, screaming fights with the wife). The plumbing work I assume was done fairly correctly, however, any other work that needed contractor was done in a shabby and unprofessional way: they never came to fix the crappy work they've done, as they promised me MANY times, and now I'm stuck with a kitchen backsplash that makes me seasick (see pic) and a bunch of other things that there better before they put their hands on it. Awful experience.

This was the worse experience.....they didn't show up on time and left early without completing the job and broke other pipes so that they could get the job which I didn't give to them...even the supervisor was a scammer do not use them they are frauds...a pipe started leaking after they finished and I didn't have any hot water I will never use them again

Honest plumbing did a major sewer job for us recently. It started with a toilet overflow (on its own), then extended to replacing the underground pipes then to the sewer line under the street in front of our house. The total job took about a week. There were a few snags such as a broken sprinkler pipe, but the plumber happened to be there soon after I found out about it and fixed the problem. However, after the main job was done, there was a bit of a mess that they did not clean up. After quite a number of futile tries to get the plumber, I finally called the company and asked to speak to the supervisor in charge. I got 2 responses right away, the first being the owner, Ben. He immediately promised to clean up the left over asphalt on the street and gutter the next day. Sure enough, he came himself the next morning. Not only did he clean everything up, he also helped to fill up a little pothole near my gutter using part of the asphalt he had removed. I am very happy with the quick response and the extra service. That shows that the owner really cares!

I used these guys once about 2 years ago and they were able to fix my plumbing issue, so when I had another leak I called them. I called on a Friday and they said they could send someone between 8-10am on Saturday. It is now Saturday morning around 10:45am and there's been no sign or call from anyone. So I call them and the woman says she will investigate and call me ""right back"". Once again, I don't hear back. At this point I was contacting other plumbers, when around 3pm I get a call from Honest saying someone could be there in 30 minutes. Given their unresponsiveness, I'm now very skeptical but agree to give them another chance. Another HOUR goes by before someone shows up--it wasn't a plumber but an assistant that came and took pictures and then sends them to the plumber. After some back and forth, their proposed fix floored me. They said that if I just put caulking around my vessel sink, that would stop the leak--are you kidding me??!!! It's like I was talking to a child that didn't understand addressing the root cause of the leak, versus simply placing a Bandaid to cover the problem up. Needless to say, these guys should be called Honestly Incompetent for poor customer service (wasted my whole Saturday waiting and did not communicate updates on timing, return calls, or even apologize) and ultimately not being competent enough to diagnose what turned out to be a relatively simple issue. Never again will I use these guys!

We had an emergency on a Friday night and another company called us, and after waiting 7 hours to say they were not coming. We googled for another company and was hoping that we could get it fixed it right away. We called your company and you came at almost midnight. Talk about great customer service for coming to our place so late! One of your employees showed up with a huge smile, and was very professional. He didn't leave till the job was done. I would highly recommend your service for anyone who needs any plumbing need.

Great service as always. Provided alternatives and knew what he was doing. Honest Plumbing and Rooter provided same day service which was greatly appreciated. I also LOVE the way that the answer the phone! Professional, polite, and most importantly it wasn't expensive. It was the cheapest quote that we received from all the local plumbers.

I don't even want to give this 1 star. Called them they state they give free estimates which is highly not the truth I was charged 60.00 and when I called to confront them I was called by one of the plumbers really rude telling me he has a master degree umm yea sure you do.then he proceeded to tell me the plumber who was at my residence didn't speak English I said it's funny cause he,spoke perfect English. They proceeded to call me when plumber was on my house telling me that I was, wasting their time either let us do the job cause your wasting our time and all I said was let me check to see if I want you to do job .So rude..I don't recommend this company 1 bit..

When it comes to septic tanks, leach lines, & servicing them, you are a little limited with your options of who can and will work on them. That being said, we read the great vs. terrible reviews of Honest & decided to take a chance. Why, you may ask? Good question, when I won't even go to a restaurant if it has less than 4 stars. Like I said, your options are limited when you are dealing with a septic tank. Ryan missed the meeting earlier in the day but went to the job later that evening & put a couple hours of work (in the dark) to research the job parameters & come up with a scope of work. He seemed to know his business. We walked the job with Ben and Ryan & discussed working with the old tank, replacing the tank where it sat, or moving it to a new location (removing the old tank and putting slurry in to fill it). Ben made the last option sound more expensive with an additional $1,200 price tag. When you are already spending over $30k saving that amount seemed like a good idea. My husband went to the property to meet them on day 1 to give the $1,000 start up payment but they never showed. No worries. We weren't in a rush. They started a couple days later but my husband couldn't meet them. I honestly have no idea if the job was done as promised. I know for a fact that a handful of items were not (see below) that leads to an uneasy feeling about the remainder of the job and if the rest was done as promised. I guess only time will tell. With the job ""finished"" my husband walked the job site to note if a final check should be issued. There were several items on the paperwork that were not taken of (installing clean out access before tank; installing clean out access at leach lines; putting in a cover for the riser to septic tank in the back; removing, disposing existing septic tank [they claim 1/2 the tank was removed but no slurry was put in]; and installing a cover for the riser to septic tank in the front). These issues, as well as leaving an untidy job site (including replacing the soil on the main water line that was broken that obviously would need to be fixed & re-excavated), galvanized pipe from sprinklers that was pulled out of the ground and left scattered around the property, as well as uncovered rocks that were left strewn about. There was a conversation about a progress payment which we were happy to provide via credit card (which they accept) but there was much confusion on Ryan's part as to the fee that a credit card company changes. He didn't understand that a 3.5% fee charged several times in smaller $8,000 increments amounts to the same charge as a one time charge for the same amount but in full. Now he wanted a check. OK, but not for the full amount until the issues were taken care of. We had several calls to get money and that must be a big issue for this company because instead of calling to say they had taken care of what needed taking care of their focus was on getting money. We were finally told that everything was taken care of and they would like their final payment. We went over to confirm this claim and found that the pipes were still littering the property. When we wanted to pay all but the final $3,700 (of the $32,500 bill) my husband was put on the phone with Ben (remember that guy who began our story?) who seemed very agitated he wasn't getting paid in full so he'd pull guys off another job just to take care of those pipes so he could get his final payment. Ok. Don't hurry on our account. We have nothing to guarantee the job is finished except holding back a final payment. He was pissed. Clean up took place a day or two later & we spoke to Ryan about the slurry that we paid for but didn't receive. He said he'd credit us $800 for it. When I asked about the $1,200 I was quoted by his father-in-law, Ben, he didn't know anything about it (strange because he was standing right there when Ben told us how much it would be). I assume $800 was their price and the mark up to the customer was another $400. That's fair, but if I'm charged that at the beginning I want that credited at the end when I don't receive what I supposedly paid for. Nope. Nothing doing. I got a whole song and dance about all the work they did, how they did more than was quoted, I had a fair price (did I?), etc. I have no basis of comparison or experience in this area to know if that's true or not. What could I say? That additional $400 credit would have gone a long way in my book to make me feel like I wasn't overcharged by this company. I gave them 2 stars because I felt like there were moments when they were being decent but they left me with the overall feeling that they thought we would not pay our bill. They made us feel like not getting the $1,000 start up payment was our fault. Not crediting us appropriately for part of the job not done, and the unprofessional angst (with 90% paid) to ensure job completion, all left me with a less than satisfied feeling about the company.
