We had a serious and costly plumbing emergency that we needed advice on what direction to go to solve and rectify the situation ASAP! It happened on a Saturday morning, which made it even more complicated! We left messages with 20 plumbers. Only 3 got back to us that day! We made appointments with all three of them. The first two plumbers gave us their diagnosis and estimates, and it was now clear to us that the situation was even more severe than we had originally thought. One scenario was having to cut through the floor of our living room under wood floors and through a wall and cutting through the cement floor of our garage, at a total cost of $8 - $10K, money we didn't have. We almost cancelled the 3rd plumber, but thank God we didn't! Ben from ""HONEST PLUMBING AND ROOTER"" was one of the few people that understood it was a plumbing emergency and showed up within hours of our frantic phone call. Ben listened to us, and was calm and patient. He ultimately came up with a non-evasive plan (to the interior of our house and garage) that the other two plumbers had not even thought of...AND it saved us $2 - $4K. We told Ben that we had to have the job complete within 4 days. He said that he could not promise me that he could, but said that he heard us and he would do his best to make that happen. Not only did he have the job complete within the deadline, but he came through on everything else that he promised us. There were a couple of glitches during the process, which happens more times than not with complex jobs, but Ben solved the problems and got us through it without jacking around with the price. Ben's right hand man, Pedro, who has been with Ben for 10 years, was also overseeing the job every minute of the 4 days it took, and his knowledge and experience was also reassuring. Everyone involved in our massive project was professional and friendly. My wife and I felt taken care of, because Ben listened to us, was patient with us, and took the time to explain everything until we understood it, and this gave us confidence in him. His company name that includes the word ""Honest"", is not just a catchy name to attract business, it's the truth! We are sincerely grateful to him, and we're calling Ben the next time we have a plumbing problem!

I was perhaps hasty with my review below. it appears now that Honest has decided to work with me on this. I will update as we progress.

Dishonest plumbing would be a better name. Be careful here they are blood suckers. Put a lien on my house before the inflated bill came. They were hours late and shoddy work. Your better off with a neighbor kid!

Horrible, Horrible customer service!! They could care less about their customers... After 4 phone calls, I was unable to even get an ETA on when they would arrive. The business actually told me to ""go ahead an call someone else""!! I did. If I could give this business ""no stars"" I would. Save your time & money & use another plumber in Burbank!!

They created an uneasy day for me , the guy came to my home to empty the septic tank and it only took 15 min. max, after he was gone we experience back up and over flow in the 2nd bathroom. I panicked called a plumber who couldn't come until the next day so my 2 son inlaws were running the snake and checking all pipes under the house and couldn't find anything wrong so we called the guy from Honest and he said he couldn't do anything until the next day and he would come back, needless to say it was a LONG night . we had no shower so I had to miss work the next day. The next day the supervisor showed up and was very HONEST about what happened apprently his employee was not, he did not empty my septic tank . It took 30 minutes and the plumbing problem is now solved.

He came again and on a holiday weekend to unclog a pipe for me. I thought that was awesome. Good heart and understands his clientele's needs. WILL call again.

Took weeks to get them over. When they finally came they got here 4 hours late without a call. They may have been honest, honestly expensive! Gave me an estimate for $500 to change a faucet in the bathroom stating it was because its 3 pieces not one piece (hot & cold knobs & spicket) like I was born yesterday! Reputable company changed the faucet & replaced the worn out shutoff valves for $250. Go elsewhere.

I have been having a lot of septic work done and called Honest Plumbing out to pump my tank. They were very professional and got the job done quick and efficiently. There was great communication between the office and I and will use them again and recommend them to my friends.

This is my second time using them. About a year ago I had to replace my entire sewer line to the street. They did it for a very fair price and completed the work in one day. So, when I had a new issue this week, I didn't hesitate to call them again.

We had Pedro and Minar come out to fix a leaky bathroom sink that had gotten so bad we had to shut off the water to the whole house. They arrived 30 minutes earlier than the time they said (a very pleasant surprise). They gave me a good price, worked well, and quickly repaired my existing fixture.

However, a few hours later I saw it was leaking again and I called back quite angry. The owner Ben called me back personally and sent them back to me right away. This time they completely replaced the fixture with a new part,and we discovered I had two separate leaks, as I had the water to my refrigerator connected to this water source and that connection was also leaking. They went out and purchased a new connection part and replaced that for me also free of charge.

The entire time Pedro and Minar were courteous and professional, showing me the problems so I could verify it for myself. Ben called me again to make sure everything worked out well,

I appreciated the fact that when I called back angrily, they responded right away to return and worked to make sure they completed the job to my satisfaction. You find out a lot about a company when problems arise not just when everything goes smoothly. I have had both experiences with them, and their commitment to make sure they did the job right and had a satisfied customer is all I can ask for. I hope I don't have the need for a plumber again anytime soon, but if I do I will be using them again.

Honest plumbing- Ben it the greatest! I've been waiting for several days for my septic tank to be pumped. When I called Ben, he said"" I'll be there no problem. He kept his promise and they are here as promised. Jose and Carlos are respectful of the property and very careful when moving my patio furniture etc. They were here in less than 24 hour notice. Can't beat that! If you have any plumbing issues, don't hesitate! Call honest plumbing!

Had my shower pan replaced! Great professional job! Beautiful tiles put in. No mess. Great price. Boys were great workers especially the supervisor PHILLIP. I fully recommend this company! Believe me i'm a tuff cookie but they pulled it through! Please disregard all bad reviews posted about them! Just have PHILLIP take care of all your needs! Good luck u won't be disappointed!
