I spent 7 years in the Coast Guard as a machinery technician, receiving an honorable discharge as a first-class petty officer.
I was a marine engineer for Crowley Tug for a year, though I prefer staying on land.
I spent 2 years as a pipe fitter in shipyards, but I faced a layoff.
I have dedicated the last 20 years to plumbing, heating system repairs, and pump maintenance.
