I interviewed five different companies before settling on Honest Air Conditioning. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. I bought two Trane systems for our two-story house. We received answers to all our questions, plus some we had not thought of. The rep was courteous and knowledgable. We've had our units for over a month and absolutely love them! The house stays cooler and the units do not run 24/7 like they used to. I can even set the temperature higher and be comfortable. I am extremely happy with the units and the service from Honest AC. I highly recommend them.

Honest AC did a tremendous job.

Our primary HVAC condenser died at the end of June. I also had a 25 year old unit that was original to the house, that was still operating, but very in-efficient and included a pilot light furnace. This started with a service call where they had a technician come onsite the same day, even when they were fully booked (everyone was booked that day).

The whole area was heading into the hot time of year, and people's AC's were breaking right and left. Honest AC was able to get the primary unit replaced within 3 days, and the secondary unit was replaced before the end of the same week. They also provided a temporary portable AC unit for our bedroom until the first of the 2 units could be installed.

The Trane unit they installed is very good. No issues at all and even find the newer units do a better job at keeping the home at a more consistent temperature. Thermostat works well with online features as advertised and love the ability to manage it while I am away (or returning home to cool the house down). Energy savings are very good, but this is expected when replacing a 15 year old and 25 year old HVAC unit. Still waiting for heating season to try out the furnaces.

Pricing is competitive with what else is out there. Quality of work is very good. This is the only area I can't give them a full five star rating in, as there was some minor cleanup activities that could have been done. I think the crews were working hard and fast due to the backlog. No problems with the mechanics, just minor debris (plastic caps from pieces, manuals left laying near furnace but not attached, etc...). I am sure they would have come back out to clean things up, but was easier for me to take care of it.

Crew's were very pleasant and efficient. Working in an attic in Texas, in the late afternoon in July, takes a lot. They answered all my questions and did a great job getting everything setup.

I was about to get burned by DragonFly AC. I called Honest Air and Floyd saved us! We had a big group of family coming in for my son's Baptism the next day. Honest made sure that everything was cool.

A/C decided to stop working last Saturday night around 10:30pm. Called two other companies that advertised 24/7 emergency service but only got voicemail. I left messages just in case. Then called Honest Air Conditioning and lo and behold a human answered the phone. She took my information and said she was relaying it to a technician and that if I didn't hear from anyone with 20 minutes to call back. Had to call back and she did say that the technician had been very busy and that she'd notify them that I called for a second time. She told me that they start calling at 7am if they can't get to you. At about 7:05am on Sunday I got a call from an Honest Air Conditioning tech (Floyd), and scheduled noon to 2pm. He said he'd call if he got done sooner. He called when he was on the way and arrived about 1:30. I shadowed him and had never seen a tech be so thorough and so knowledgeable. I got a lot of great info. The AC unit was repaired and tuned up by 2:15pm. BTW, Floyd turned out to be not only a great technician but the owner of Honest Air Conditioning. Outstanding service and information! Thanks.

Oh, the other guys called back around noon and I had to say, too late.

My AC broke and I called to see if they could come out the same day (others were saying it would take a week because they were so backed up). They squeezed me in the same day, told me what was wrong, fixed it, and they were fast and fair. What more could you ask for?

I had a great experience with these guys. My A/C stopped cooling suddenly and i was really nervous about having to replace the whole unit. Honest Air was able to come out the same day and fixed my A/C right away. They were honest about the prices and what the problems could be and what the problem actually was. I am very happy with the service that I received and would use them again.

Called about air conditioning issue. They showed up and fixed the problem. He also said that Freon was low and wanted 150 to add Freon. We said it that we didn't notice an issue with cooling before it went out so we said no. The AC wasn't effective after the repair, so we had to get back them for a Freon now he wanted 180. We complained and finally he agreed to 150.
Not a great experience.

We used honest air a year or so ago, but just now getting to a review. Our ac decided that 8pm on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend was the perfect time to blow a capacitor. I called Honest Air because I had seen their van around and within half an hour they were at our house to quickly fix the issue and saving me a weekend of sweating to death and my wife trying to convince me for us to spend the weekend in a hotel. Pricing was very fair. Would highly recommend and will be using Honest again.
