BEWARE. Shockingly overpriced. Get a second opinion on any work HomeX quotes you on.

We were charged $250 for the camera snake to inspect the kitchen drain which was blocked. The technicians were unable the clear the blockage, but quoted us $20,000 to replace our old steel pipes.

Not surprisingly this $88 service call seemed to quickly escalate into the cost of a bathroom remodel.

One of our neighbors is a plumber so we called him to get a second opinion (we dont usually like to bother him for trivial stuff - like a quick rooter job).

First, he was able to unblock the clog quickly and our drain was functioning properly again. Then, when he quoted us to carry out the EXACT SAME WORK HomeX had recommended in their quote, it was ONE TENTH the cost. He quoted us under $2000 for work - replacing all metal drains - that HomeX quoted us $20,000 for.

So this clog ended up costing us $450 - and thats our bad. Lesson learned. But our trustworthy neighbor told us that its common for rooter companies to have NO INTENTION of unblocking your clog, so they can upsell you on expensive plumbing work. BUYER BEWARE!!

I'm not saying thats what HomeX do - I have only circumstantial evidence - and Jorge and Shane were very friendly and professional on the job. Just know when you call HomeX out to your place, be prepared for a grossly inflated quote.

I had a shower drain that was clogged and was able to schedule an appointment that same day for 10 am. Their office called beforehand to confirm the appointment time, and their technician called when they were around 30-40 minutes away. They showed up right on time and Dakota did a great job getting rid of the clog quickly. He was great at explaining the process and the costs and answered all of our questions. Quotes were sent off using yelps ""projects"" and Home X Plumbing contacted me quickly! We were able to establish a time where they would have a tech out here around the time I got home from work. My kitchen sink and bathroom sink share a wall back to back and both were clogged really bad nothing was passing through to get to the main line. Jorge and Shane showed up not long after I got home and were very professional. They confirmed my name asked about the situation I had and assessed the sinks. Jorge and Shane walked me through the process they would take in order to fix my issue. They were really cool genuine guys, and gave me recommendations on steps I should take to prevent this from the future (replacing the old pipes leading from the sink through the wall to the main line). They were in and out in about an hour and the value of the service was fantastic, given the steps they took to give me accurate information they could visually confirm. If you have any plumbing issues, DO NOT hesitate to reach out to Home X, you will not be disappointed. Service is worth every penny.

What an amazing, easy, and quick experience! The customer service was stellar from the start. Jessica, the office staff, was very prompt in getting a technician out within the hour of our call. Before the technician came, I received a text alerting me that the technician was on his way as well as a photo of the technician. I also received a courtesy call from the technician with an ETA. The technician they sent, Dakota, was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Dakota thoroughly inspected our water heater and carefully walked us through our repair options without any upsell or pressure to spend more on something we didn't want. We had an issue with our washer drain backing up to the point the washer water overflowed into the kitchen sink. We called the phone number, and a friendly dispatcher had Jorge come out the same day within 2 hours. Jorge patiently listened to our issue and went over the possible causes and recommended a video scoping of the pipes to diagnose the true issue. There was a lot of soap and grease scum build up over the years in our galvanized iron pipes (original to our 70 yr old house) causing narrowing. Jorge called in Shane his supervisor to assist him after recommending hydro- jetting out the pipes. This process took over an hour, and it resolved our issue. The service was professional, and they cleaned up whatever mess was made. The cost was fair considering the work required. I will definitely call them in the future for any of our plumbing needs!

Oscar and Robert came to move the vent of my tankless water heater. The job took 2 days, they had to cut and patch drywall and stucco. These guys were PHENOMENAL!! Professional and personable doesn't even begin to state how they handled my job. The cost was extremely reasonable and they gave options dependent on the level of Job service I wanted. Just all around they gave me a positive experience considering my scenario that caused me to need the vent moved!! Thank you gentlemen!!
