Off the top, Hometown Plumbing fixed my plumbing problem. The guy was friendly, and I didn't feel pressed to use his services. All good.

Not-so-good. When the old water line was cut (within the drywall of the interior home room) the guy wasn't paying attention, leaving the cut and going out to his van. There was a LOT of residue water in the line and had I not been watching and able to capture the drainage at least a gallon of water would've spilled between the drywall and the house frame. Little to no ventilation in that space assuredly would've led to mildew and perhaps the need to replace drywall. Secondly, before leaving I noticed he hadn't used any foam fill between the outside wall and the spigot. I asked about it and he said, ""It doesn't need it"". Malarky! It was needed and I applied it myself after a run to the store. This was just laziness on his part.

Yeah, if in a pinch again and Hometown was the only shop available to fix I'd go with them again. Otherwise, I'll look elsewhere for plumbing needs.

James and his crew were outstanding! They were very responsive setting up the replacement of my water heater in less than a week. When I asked them to do a couple more things like replace the sewage pump and main shutoff valve, they didn't hesitate or try to reschedule, they just worked until all was done. There attention to detail and making sure the job was done right was extremely impressive. It's hard to fine good people and I'm really glad I found Hometown Plumbing, they'll be my plumbers for life!

I had a Toto toilet that was leakin. Needed a plumber that was certified to work on it. I had them come and replace the inner parts on that toilet and 2 others.
It was expensive, but it needed to be done. Upon leaving the plumber gave me my charges and asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Not sure if it is a usual practice to ask for a tip on services that are so expensive. Later I discovered he had left used parts wrapped up in one of my towels on the counter in my bathroom. I let that go, BUT 3 months later another toilet started running and the only way I could control the water is to shut it off. I have contacted Hometown Plumbing and will see if they stand behind their service.

Have used Hometown for several projects. One was the installation of a pressure pump and other was repairing outside piping. James is a good honest and knowledgeable guy (owner). Will continue to use them as more plumbing projects materialize.

I might actually cry! James came in and saved my day/week! Hometown Plumbing was the SIXTEENTH plumber I called, freaking out with a stopped toilet. After hours of trying to get ahold of someone, it was now the end of the day and he was STILL able to get out there and repair it! Great, friendly service and cost efficient. I will definitely be calling with all of my plumbing needs! Don't wait and read through the different companies and reviews, go with Hometown Plumbing!

Noticed our water heater was leaking late on a Wednesday afternoon. Thinking we wouldn't be able to get anyone to repair it that day, I started to call around to see who I could get the quickest. James at Hometown Plumbing answered the phone. After a description of what was going on and sending him some pictures, James made the determination to come to our house that night and repair it. He showed up at 7:00 that night and repaired the leaking pipe, but it was determined during his inspection that our water heater was shot. He gave us a very fair quote for a new water heater and came in that Friday to replace it. James came after his work day to do a simple repair and then didn't charge us for it because we opted to have him replace the old water heater. I felt he was more than fair in his pricing and his service was phenomenal! I didn't feel that he was pushy when he recommended the new water heater. He told us our options and what he could do and then left it up to us to decide. All in all, I will recommend Hometown Plumbing to all of my friends and we will use them for any future repairs.

James took my call, listened to my concerns, and was able to get to my home the next day to help me with the problem of no water pressure in my kids bathroom (where the only bath tub is). James not only fixed the problem, but went the extra 100 miles and didn't give up or tell me it just had to be replaced. As a single mom, plumbing problems can be scary. He was quick to be at my house, took his time to fix the problem, was honest about everything, and gained a life long customer. James, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

Failed to turn on gas supply after connecting gas dryer. Left gas leaking into our home after charging over $500 to connect new gas dryer to gas line outlet in laundry area. A Maytag repairman and an Avista tech both found leaks at gas connections, even after a second visit by Hometown.
