Laura M.I honestly can't believe this service exists! I've used other ""home warranties"" but they were always so difficult to deal with and the service was sometimes subpar. But not HomeServe! I called on some backed-up plumbing and they got someone out there that day. Something more needed to be done than that particular plumber could do and they set up another visit that happened the same day. We needed to remove a board so they could snake the in ground pipe. They told us what needed to be done, we did it and they came right back to finish and the problem was fixed. So glad I subscribed to their multiple product offerings. Well worth it!
I had a leak outside on the patio. The technicians arrived promptly and fixed the leak in 15 minutes. They did a great job. I highly recommend this company.
This company commits fraud on a daily basis. Called to have my refrigerator fixed. The guy they sent out speaks no English!!! He tried to fix the fridge and installed something on it. He takes a picture of it and tells homeserve that I installed it and they tell me that now it's not covered!!! Why would I buy the insurance only to not use it and try to fix the fridge on my own!!!!! They say they will look into it, but they won't and they will not call back. When I call now they either hang up on me or they lie and say they are sending someone out but never do. Do not trust this company !!!
well the guy that came out was awesome but it took 3 weeks to get a contractor to call me....first contractor had call setup never showed up waited for them to call me back up and nothing I got free time to call HomeServe again to get a contractor back out.
The director and the regional manager were well aware of the open work order being open and it still too several weeks to respond

We have several plans with homeserve and the regional leaders at one time denied us coverage fully knowing we pay for the services that were not even being able to create a wo#
We are paying customer's whom has been taken advantage of by poor business management
All the way from the technician whom used our personal property to clean up his mess and threw it into the shower.
Using plastic lowest grade of materials that could easily cause secondary problems

My A/C unit stopped blowing cold air and I called Homeserve to get someone out. First company passed the buck and seemed to ignore me. They said they would call back but I never heard from them. Called homeserve to get a new company, was told someone would call but we never heard from anyone until after my unit was fixed by someone else that I had to find on my own. This process is a joke. It is hot here in Florida and people dont have time for these waiting games. Very unacceptable. Whats the point of even having this so called warranty?
Don't trust this company! They look for any reason to try and deny your claim. They will take your money for years and years but will leave you in the dust when it comes time to pay! A big ripoff!
Jacob M.Outdoor piping started a leak near the well. Called Homeserve at 8:00AM. At 11:00AM, a plumber came with a backhoe. The piping was repaired in 2 hours. They did a quality job. The plumber also used quality materials for the repair job. They backfilled the soil and seeded the affected area. Very satisfied that piping was fixed the same day.
I called HomeServe for an estimate for installing a new central ac and gas furnace. The salesman who came to my house had an attitude, was rude, very dominating and unwilling to answer my questions. He also told me that HomeServe will not take away the old ac and furnace. The estimate I received from him was inflated (probably added his commission) and unsatisfactory. I will never hire this compoany.
Absolute scam! Check your contract. I bet it says they have 30 days to fix your issue. Well guess what! They're going to use the full thirty days. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt like I did. They won't be there when your water main breaks. I had to flush my toilet using jugs of water!
terrible company to deal with.Had a contract in place and when told them I had no hot water they said I did'nt have contract.Use someone else.Christine supervisor from appliances was so not helpful.We have multiple policies and this is how you treat customers.
