I am completely disgusted with the company HomeserveUSA. This is supposed to be a company who specializes in emergency fixing of plumbing, electrical, as well as heating and cooling. As a paying costumer, tonight in 36 degree weather, my husband called to have them come and fix our boiler. He informed them that our boiler has broken and we currently have no heat... also that we have a two month old INFANT in the house. They replied with ""the best they could do was come out sometime on Wednesday to fix it.. and to try to keep the baby warm"" Needless to say we will be canceling our services with them in the morning and encouraging anyone and everyone we know to do the same. This company is an absolute disgrace!

The service technician, Russell, was amazing. Not only did he get the boiler running, he explained what he did and also went over what I should be doing to keep the boiler performing well.

Horrible customer service. They are not truly 24/7. They just answer their phones 24/7. Even in an emergency it can take them days to respond. Good luck trying to speak to a supervisor. Even if the problems are caused by their fault during a prior visit, they take their sweet time coming out to address the issue.

Set up appointment to restore heat. Two days out for first appointment. Then a 4-8 time slot. No show by 7:00 so I called. ""Oh, the time slot is 4-8:30, not 4-8."" Well it's 8:30 and no show, no call. Not worth the money. Canceling my contract!

Did not solve my leak problem. I had a leak on the first floor bathroom which exposed about 4 square feet of ceiling. The leak was not stopped. I understand I must cover the work to fix the ceiling but the leak was Homeserves responsibility. They did not stop the leak even though they were supposed to cover up to $2500 maximum. The plumber came and fixed a toilet above me bit that did not stop the leaking on my floor. Very bad service. I had to hire a plumber independently which cost me $2000 total including ceiling repair. I reached out to Homeserve to see if they could help with the $2000 in some way with no responses. Very dissatisfied customer. Will cancell all my coverage plans by weekend if this is not addressed.

Their mission ""To free our customers from the worry and inconvenience of home emergency repairs."" Their customer service for this call has been beyond poor. Our boiler quit working, called for an appointment, and we were scheduled for between 4 and 8 p.m. My wife had to leave work in order to be there for 4 p.m. At about 7:30, the Technician called and said, ""I got stuck at this other job for 2 hours, and I won't be making to your home tonight."" Remember, no Boiler, NO HEAT! We were told that he would be at our house at 8 a.m. the next morning. I took off work, 8 a.m. comes no Technician. I call Homeserve and they say it was not scheduled until Saturday, not Friday, and that the Technician cannot make any appointments. Now, not only is my Boiler not work, NO HEAT!, I now have been
lied to by a Representative of Homeserve. We were then scheduled for an appointment between 7 and 10 p.m. on Friday night. I called back when I got work in hopes to speak with a Supervisor, the Representative on the phone says I do not see an appointment for Friday, it is Saturday morning. I have been on hold now for over 20 minutes. This is ridiculous, and at this point, I would NOT RECOMMEND Homeserve. There are plenty of home warranty companies, I would seriously think twice or three times before signing up with Homeserve. Thank God this did not happen in the middle of Winter, my family and I would probably be frozen to death.

If zero were an option that is the rating I would give. We had an emergency pipe situation at my mother's house and the Service center said someone would call in 4 hours - three days later someone calls and the woman would not identify the company she works for. She just kept asking me if I called Homeserve. And when I told her she is calling 3 days late she hung up on me. Her phone number is not connected to a company name. This set up seems like some way to steal money from older people!

I have a service contract for my home incl. 2 ac units and heating system. Annual cost almost $700. Have needed service twice in the last 4 weeks for no hot water. First call to them was on a Saturday during Memorial Day wknd. The said they were very busy and could not come for 3 days. Had the same problem last Sunday eve they said they wd b here Monday 5-8:00. At 7:30 I called they said appointment was for July 9!! Almost 2 weeks away they apologized saying it was their mistake. So I have to wait till the next day. THINK TWICE BEFORE USING THEIR SERVICE OR NON-service!

I should have checked the reviews on this outfit before hand--signed up for water and sewer (2 accounts) i have a certain acct i pay certain bills out of---these idots took $$ out to pay 1 of the accts without my knowledge and say so (i think that is against the law) and made 1 of my bills bounce--(of course not theirs) and i have been waiting 2 WEEKS FOR A REFUND BECAUSE I CANCELLED BOTH OF MY ACC... WITH THEM---SHAME ON THEM

HOME SERVE IS A RIP OFF!
I've had an expensive service contract with Home Serve for years. Last night (Saturday) the heat went out. The first appointment they could get for me was THURSDAY! I have had my furnace and A/C serviced every year by them ( annual tune up). I had to call my plumber and he came within one hour and fixed the problem.
I AM NOT GOING TO RENEW THE SERVICE CONTRACT WITH HOME SERVE AS IT IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS PRINTED ON!
They have NO EMERGENCY SERVICE. ABSURD!
