I have been a Home Energy customer in some capacity for many years and have always been pleased with all of the services they provide. I have had to call on them for service during ""off"" hours and their response to my issues were extremely timely and managed or solved by knowledgable and courteous service employees. This same couteous and efficient service has carried over to the clerical staff when I have required additional information or clarification regarding bills or pricing.
I would highly recommend Home Energy Services for any of your fuel oil, service or new equipment installation needs.

This was the oil company that was already servicing my home so I kept them as my oil company. During my relationship with them I have had tremendous trouble with the billing department as I was getting over inflated bills and erroneous charges. I also have had trouble with them regarding delivery. I told them I would call them for oil when I need it. Instead they would just show up. In my opinion they would try to fill my tank before the prices dropped I could continue telling you about my troubles with this company for hours. I would prefer to be cold than ever buy anything from this oil company again.

Recently purchased a new home which needed a new boiler. I was pointed to Homenergy which has led me down a long and terribly frustrating road. It took me one month to get someone over to check it out. They were not timely with call backs or scheduling. I would wait two weeks with no contact. Once they finally scoped it out I was told I would have a quote within the week. It has been three months. I had forgotten about them and moved on but then I would get a call out of the blue inquiring if I was still interested in the quote. I would say yes just because I'm interested, and even still never heard back!!! This happened twice !!! I'm very glad I didn't because after having other companies also visit and inspect the boiler it became apparent Homenergy has a quite poor understanding of how basic hot water heating systems should work. The info gathered from them was debunked by 3 other companies. I would NOT recommend this company for poor customer service and communication, terrible punctuality, and most importantly their lack of knowledge in their trade. Save time and look elsewhere.
