Recommended Customer Reviews

This is the first time I have left a review for a business. I just don't usually leave reviews but felt this was my only recourse as a consumer when the owner of the company appeared unreasonable and difficult to work with when we disagreed on services they provided. HLM provided HVAC services for our commercial building for 3 years and 3 months. We had a quarterly maintenance agreement in which they were to maintain the HVAC units in two of our rental spaces. At times we appreciated the effort put in by their company to assist with issues in our commercial building. However, we had several issues that we could not get resolution on and the owner was unwilling provide a reasonable solution. In brief, we had $170.00 in charges, out of over 4,000 that we had paid in charges within 3 years. Ingrid, the owner was unwillingly to have a reasonable discussion. We tried on two occasions to try and explain why we felt we did not owe it. We were met with interruptions and an unwillingness to hear what we were trying to explain. In addition, having two other companies come in and assess the HVAC units, both companies stated ""there is no way these units have been regularly maintained."" I would be very cautious in using HLM as an HVAC service provider.

HomeLand Mechanical is as good as it gets. So far they have installed a water heater, 10 years ago, a new furnace and A/C system 2 years ago and today they installed a new tankless water heater.
When our crawl space flooded 2 years ago, Bill came and crawled through the mud to inspect the furnace, which was ruined from the water. He got the fans on it and when it was dry he brought his team in and they got the old one out and a whole new system put in before it got really cold. He came back when it start to warm up outside and got the A/C running and it is so nice!
Yesterday when my hot water tank failed after 10 years Ingrid sent a technician, Andrew, to my home as soon as possible, got the old one out after diagnosing that it had indeed failed. Due to new regulations on insulation the tank was way to big to fit back in the space, so it was decided that we would go tankless. They cleaned up and came back this morning, installed the new unit. Thank you Andrew, Brad and Brian. You all made a bad situation bearable and I am so glad I called HomeLand Mechanical once again.

First time I've used Homeland Mechanical. My AC went out in the middle of summer. I called their emergency services. Their service was prompt and professional. The Technician, Brad called with an estimated time he would arrive. When he arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem, picked up the part and had it installed in about 15 minutes. The cost was absolutely fair, and he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I will definitely be using them again! By the way they are veteran owned.
