Jessica was super friendly and helpful in directing me towards the next step when I spoke with her. She recommended installing a bipolar air ionizer and sent out a service technician to my home. The specialist named James arrived right away as scheduled. James was very knowledgeable and highly competent at handling such technical issues as was apparent after he installed the bipolar air ionizer. He explained to me from the start step-by-step what an air ionizer was and the benefits that having one installed would be for my family. I truly appreciated being treated so respectfully. In my opinion, Jessica, James and Electric Today are the areas elite home service go-to pros from now on!
Gabriel C.They completed a coil cleaning and replaced a capacitor. However, the capacitor was not mounted properly. It was just laid on the other wires in the original cardboard box with the feed wires running directly from it. I would've expected that they at least mount it inside of the holster, as the original had been.

Andy S.We lost our A/C on the weekend and they sent a Service Rep out on Sunday morning. Within 2 minutes he analyzed the situation and started fixing the problem. The people answering the phone were Great and the Serviceman, Jacob, was Fantastic... technically trained well, with a very Friendly Attitude, to Help us in our time of need. Don't waste your time calling anyone else ! Electric Today is the BEST !!!
Last Wed, I had Electric today come out because my microwave tripped my breaker twice on two different occasions. I left it off until the electrician came. The electrician proceeded to try to trip it by turning off an on my microwave and other items attached to that circuit. He never tested the breaker, but deemed in my new ( less than 2 years old microwave was the reason. Before I spent another 500 dollars on a brand new microwave, I called the company. They said it was most likely not the microwave and asked about the breaker. Since it hadn't happened again, I e-mailed Electric Today asking about a service fee when they diagnosed it wrong. It's almost a week later , and still no reply. On Saturday night it went dark. Since the add said you can text I texted the next morning at 5:30 , then after 9 am, with no response. I finally called and they said the earliest they could get someone to look at it was Tuesday afternoon ( so I was going to be left with no stove or microwave to cook dinner). I decided to see if I could get someone to fix it that day- and I did. It was easily and breaker as the switch on it was very flimsy. I called again this morning to let a manager know of my experience to see if they could refund the 59 dollars because turning a microwave on and off a few times, shouldn't be that much. I was told they would call me back when they were available. 4 hours later still no response, so hence the reviews and contacting the better business bureau. Because as a single mom, who is also a teacher, the 59 dollars is a significant amount to me.
We had them install recessed lighting in our living room and replace three outlets . They did a good job and were very nice and on time. The price was very reasonable and they offered a military discount, which we appreciated. However, they made a mess and didn't use any drop cloths or cover the furniture. I would have loved it if they had told me that they don't do that and I would have done it myself. They did sweep up but there was a lot of dust on everything. I would recommend them but be warned that you should do your own prepping of the space!

They offered reasonable pricing compared to others and most importantly and one of the.m better warranty's compared to other companies I received quotes from. Dion W.I don't usually post negative reviews, but I am as hot as fish grease right now. I own a gaming company and have never gotten a bad review, because I do what I say I'm going to do, which is not what this company does. I should've listened to gut and went with someone else in the first place, especially after I read the reviews about Electric Today. I called and scheduled an appointment yesterday and spoke with an individual who had to be driving ( from the background noise ). I asked him about running some Cat 6 cable for me in my attic. He said """" We can have someone out there tomorrow (which is today June 12 2019) between 1:00 and 3:00 pm"""". I was ecstatic because they were able to do it so soon. I took off work to make sure I would be here when they arrived. 3:00 passed and I never received a phone call, so I called them. A young lady answered the phone only to tell me that my appointment was never put in the books and was I sure I had the right company (1st dumb question) Then she had the audacity to ask me if they could come out tomorrow around the same time to do the job, which means I would have to take off work again. I almost cussed her out for being an idiot, so to keep from doing that, I just hung up in her face. I will be posting this on my community website and the 8 other community websites where my military buddies live. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! A COMPANY WHO CARES ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS WOULD NEVER TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY. 1 NEGATIVE RESULT IS 1 TOO MANY AND ITS EVIDENT THEY DON'T CARE.
Oxalis G.Sunday evening my a/c stopped cooling. We pay $10/month to electric today for them to be on call to resolve electric and a/c issues. We called them right away. Although we called Sunday around 11am, they could not send anyone out until the next day. Monday their tech came out, checke the system and said our compressor died and we could either repair or replace. Repair would be $2500, replacement anywhere within $5000 and $6000. Since we had also purchased an extended home warranty I contact the extended home warranty. They placed me in contact with another A/C company who came out the very next day (Tuesday), check the system, found the compressor had been disconnected, connected the compressor and the unit started cooling immedeatly. My A/C issue was fixed in 15 minutes or less. There was no trying to sell me a new unit or extensive repairs. I do not know if the compressor had been disconnected prior to Electric today coming out or if it was disconnected by their tech, what I do know is the tech failed to properly diagnose the issue and focused more on trying to sell me on something that I did not need.
