I hired Vanguard Home Solutions to paint a front side of our Victorian house and repair our yard deck. It was a quite large job that required strong carpentry and painting skills. During the estimate Igor shared his vast knowledge about decks, and took his time to figure out how to do the work at a reasonable cost. He was pragmatic about the work that needed to be done. After estimating the job, Igor responded promptly with a job schedule, and was able to begin work within the week. Our job had to be spaced out over several days due to poor weather, but if there was sun, Igor's crew showed up for work. Igor went above and beyond and patched some holes we had in one of our side exterior walls at no additional cost. He breathed new life into our house. Also, he gave a workmanship warranty for several years. We are pleased with the result, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Last fall, we decided to paint our 2 stories house. We contacted Vanguard Home Solutions after checking the company's website for photos of their past work, and customer reviews on Yelp.
We contacted the company via email and received a prompt response from the owner of the company, and scheduled an appointment to quote the job. Igor, the owner of Vanguard Home Solution, came on time as scheduled. After inspection of the house, he explained what preparation work should be done before painting, and what product should be used for painting a stucco siding. Igor told us that stucco should be painted with Elastomeric paint that provides the best protection for stucco and preventing stucco from cracking in the future.
And, he gave us a 15-year warrantee for his work.
1. The owner of the company Igor was never late, he explained everything intelligibly and clearly, helped in the choice of paint, gave practical advice. He supervised a process of the work, and keep us updated about the progress.
2. The whole team worked very attentively towards all details. Great preparation work: they covered concrete all around the house with plastic tarps to avoid marks and paint drops. All cracks in stucco were repaired, window and door cases were sanded and caulked. After completion of work they cleaned the site and haul out all waste.
We are very happy with the job; our house looks amazing!

Once upon a time (last week), I met with Igor Belov, owner of Vanguard Home Solutions. He came to house and gave me an estimate for sanding and resealing my deck. I looked at product and color options, and he offered professional advice. I hired him. He said the work would take three days to complete and that his employee could start two days later, at 10:00am. Two days later at 10:00am, his employee showed up. The work took three days to complete. These pictures don't do the work justice. The deck looks fantastic.

To recap: Dependable, responsible, honest, professional, dependable guy said he would do something and he id it.

I just had Vanguard power-wash, repair and seal/paint my somewhat neglected deck and stairs. Igor was timely in responding to my initial inquiry, took an expert look at what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. I knew we would have to wait several weeks in the queue but that was fine - they showed up as promised and did a terrific job. Some boards in the deck and on the stairs were replaced, necessary reinforcement added, lichen scraped away, and careful, thorough painting. Very different from the last ""treatment"" in 2012. It's like a new deck.

I highly recommend Igor for any patio/deck resurfacing job you need to get done. First off, he was punctual, professional, and gave me an honest opinion on what needed to be done. Second, I appreciated the education he gave me in clarifying things that other contractors were trying to sell me but ultimately Igor didn't think they were necessary and actually ended up saving me money. Case in point, the guy I hired last year told me that my deck would require a power wash every 2 years and then staining. Igor, however, recommended a long lasting paint job so I don't have to worry about it every 2 years. It's refreshing to hear an honest professional opinion these days. I highly recommend Igor and will gladly hire him again if needed.
