I woke up to a cold house Monday morning. I called Home Heating Service's on Monday and they scheduled me for Tuesday afternoon. they gave me a time frame from 1::00-3:00 PM. They were very prompt, they came around 1:45 PM. My technician was Brady. He came in diagnosed what was wrong when he got the parts and fixed it all in the same day. Such a blessing since it was getting cold out. I felt like he wasn't trying to upsell me and he was only fixing what he absolutely had to. I really appreciate that. I thought so higher of the company that I took out their service plan and I will use them for all my furnace, air conditioning and hot water heater needs. I had a company that I use for years. I will not mention their name and they did a lot of wrong unprofessional things. I'm glad I finally have a wonderful company. Thank you again Brady we thought a lot of you you're very professional, polite, punctual, and just a nice young man.

Home Heating Service installed my new furnace on 12/19/22. I am very happy with my experience from start to finish. They are not pushy and everything went smooth. Manager Derrick is very personable. Scott was great with helping me choose the right system to fit my budget and needs. He was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions and explain the whole process. My technicians Justin and Justin showed up first thing in the morning as promised. They were polite, efficient and cleaned up after they got the job done. I will be calling them for all my future HVAC needs. Thank you!

Home Heating tech was very helpful. I wanted a new theromostat which I already had. They had to sell me the same theromost to me which had, and an adapter to use with my smart phone. Instead of selling me the adapter,of which I needed, they had to sell me the entire package. This is sooo wrong! Anyhow, their tech was helpful as it was not working correctly and he came back to make sure it was connecting correctly. Their pricing is a little high, but used them as I needed a Lenox qualified dealer. They offer packages for bi-annual maintenance which provides a little discount. The second time of their service, I had them come for come to prepare for heating. I was not impressed with the tech that came out to check for heating. He drill holes to determine C02 testing. My unit is 8 years old...how is it my heater has been tested by multiple companies for C02 and they never had to drill holes to test? So unahppy. I have one more maintence in the package purchased...after that, I will evaualte to see if I will continue using this company.

I realize Home Heating Service receives mostly positive reviews but my experience with them was anything but positive.

In 2013 I had a 30-year old, 115,000 BTU Lennox furnace that I wanted to replace with a new, 98% efficient Lennox furnace. The salesman told me with certainty that for my house (~2300 sf) a 90,000 BTU would be more than enough heating capacity because the new furnace had variable speed blowers and heating output. I believed him and bought the 90,000 BTU furnace (it's actually 85,000 output according to the AHRI sticker on the furnace). I never received an itemized invoice but with a humidifier and AC coil it was well over $8,000. I never said anything to the effect that I wanted a cheap furnace, and indeed I bought the top-of-the-line Lennox (SLP98V).

Since then, when it gets very cold outside (less than 15 degrees Fahrenheit), the furnace struggles mightily to keep the house warm. On a recent night it was only 15 degrees outside, but the furnace could only keep it at 60 degrees at the thermostat (set to 68). Some parts of the house were in the 50s. So, for the first time since I bought it, I called an HVAC company not named Home Heating to see if anything could be done to increase the heat output. Sadly, the tech concluded that the furnace was not big enough to heat my house. He did not try to sell me a new one, knowing the one I have works perfectly well but is not up to the task.

Because my house has a flat roof (no insulation), and lots of ceiling to floor windows, the Home Heating salesman failed to estimate my actual heating requirements. I really did need 115,000 BTUs, and I am some 30,000 BTUs short.

This is all on Home Heating, as I am not an HVAC expert and I relied on their expertise. I still don't understand why they sold me a less expensive furnace with fewer BTUs than the size I already had (that worked fine).

So, I am faced with either living in a cold house when it is very cold outside, and using space heaters on those days/nights, or buying a new 115,000 BTU furnace.

Home Heating also gave me a hard time when I called for a warranty repair, but that's another story.

I do not recommend Home Heating Service based on my experiences with them.

Greatly appreciate the thoroughness check and routine maintenance of our furnace, hot water heater and gas fireplace. It was worth the price - we have been remissed in having the fire place maintained as other companies have consistently said it wasn't necessary. I sought out a company that does provide this service and very pleased with the result. Thank you Carlos!

Our technician (Eric K) did the best and most complete furnace inspection I've ever had. He checked and adjusted things that no one else ever did, and explained it to us afterward. Very impressed.

Of course the AC quit on one of the hottest weekends.
Dusty got here within 2 hours and had me up and running within 1 hour.
Very knowledgeable and friendly.

They are Always Awesome! The water heater went out. All I could think of is there goes my Tabor check. I called in the afternoon to have someone come after hours, I couldn't get out of work earlier. Home Services comes every year for my Furnace, they have done some work on the Water Heater. I am so grateful for them. Always there when I need them. Dusty today was so professional on time (early) he knew his stuff and put me at ease. I love that they sent an email with the Tech name an actual map to watch him travel. Thank you for being there.
