so... I agreed to pay 1000 dollars to have my duct work blown out. Thats fine I agree to it. the technician showed up 45 min late to start the appointmen. after he took his time after showing up to finally get everything out of the vehicle and setup to start the process we are over an hour in. so we start the process. I stayed out of the way so the "" trained professional"" could do the job I paid for. after the service was completed he asked for a signature so I signed. after walking back through after he left to shut off lights.. my vents were bent due to him forcing his air fitting through them. all besides a handful. not only that he also left everything that blew out of the vents all over the ground for me to clean up. a day or so later I receive a text and I didn't reply due to being upset asking how the quality and was the work completed satisfactory... another day goes by and I reply I'm not satisfied and let them know about the damage done and the mess that was left behind. the lady replied with "" I'll let the department that deals with this know"" I said great thank you. a week goes by and nothing.. so I reply back through text to the same lady and I get the same response that she doesn't deal with that. so I reply if I don't talk to someone about this I will be leaving a review on ""BBB"" and on here! still no reply so here we are! I would not recommend this company to even my worse enemy.

We had them install new furnace and air conditioner back in Sept when they had a special going on and was very pleased with their service, the warranties and their customer service. We love our digital thermostat and the fact that we can hardly hear our furnace run at all. Our furnace and air conditioner were approximately 18 hrs old and we knew we' d have to do something sometime soon. We didn't want to be caught in the middle of weather without as my husband is a heart patient and wouldn't be good for him. I would highly recommend them.

Called them to check my air conditioner. The tech arrived around 6 in the evening...I didn't request a rush and had no idea when he would show up. They don't tell you. They just call 15 minutes before. The tech took doors off and took pictures. Furnace is 20 years old but works great. AC is a bit newer. He told me before even finding the problem I should replace the entire system. He went out side and looked at the unit and took off the panel to the electrical parts. His drill battery was dead *what kind of tech doesn't have more than one battery?? He measured the capacitor and said it was bad..it is four years old..so that is possible these days. He said the contactor was also bad..but didn't test it. He said he could replace those parts for $700..if you read other reviews there is a common theme. He said he had the parts and could do it, but why spend that much and I would likely have another failure soon and need a new system..so I should have a project manager come out to give an estimate. He then said he can schedule the estimate for the next day or come back and install the parts....which he said before were on his truck. Lie 1. After that he said he has one of the mid level systems in his house and loves it. 15 minutes later we were talking and he said he's looking for a house and hates living in an apartment complex. He totally lied about having a system. Here is the kicker. The parts he wanted replaced I looked up and cost $40.00 max!!!! Needless to say I didn't have him do anything and the next morning canceled my estimate appointment. Sham.

Home Comfort Expert provides an excellent service. Their staff is very professional. However if you need to submit part of a repair to your insurance company; use someone else: They cannot provide an itemized invoice.

I would put 0 stars if I could. Had Home Comfort out to fix our AC unit that went out. We had told them multiple times that we were just trying to fix our existing unit and not invest in a whole new system. The technician came out and said the repair would be $700, so he did the ""repair"" and started packing up his things without even checking inside if the air was working ok. The ""fix"" he did had already stopped working again within a couple minutes before he even left, so my fiancée told him and instead of looking for further issues or fixes, he said he could have someone out later in the day to quote an entire new unit, which was the exact opposite of our goal and now we were out $700. On top of that, my fiancée was the only one home at the time when he showed up and he made several weird, completely unprofessional comments to my fiancée that made her very uncomfortable and made me very mad. Asking about her perfume several times throughout the service and saying it reminded him of his ex girlfriend, having her stay outside with him during the service because he ""liked to talk"", asking about me (her fiancé) and if she liked me. Completely unacceptable behavior from someone that's supposed to be professional and there to do a job. Seemed like he was more interested in talking to her than trying to repair our unit. The very next day we had a different service company out and their technician fixed our unit within 30 minutes and charged us $150 and it's been working perfect ever since. I will actively steer away anyone I know from ever using this company. Absolutely horrible in every way. Contacted customer service to try and get some reimbursement for such an awful experience and a fix that didn't do anything, but was essentially told we were out of luck. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

The manager came to our home and looked at our issues and did try to reimburse us the plumbing Materials we had to purchase to fix the issue their tech had created for us. He offered us two options of a service plan for our Ac/furnace or reimbursement of plumbing parts. He was understanding and apologetic.

As an update: they care SO MUCH that the same Rachael Hauch that is in the email thread that is STILL UNRESOLVED responded here on Yelp that this is not the service they strive for and that I SHOULD EMAIL THEM AND ASK FOR HER! What an absolute joke

Called HCE to look at our 32 year old furnace. The heat exchanger had a large crack in it so we needed to replace the furnace. We knew sooner or later we would have to replace it so we decided to replace the air conditioner too. I already had an estimate from 2 other companies a few months earlier so we kinda knew ball park figures. HCE were having a sale buy the air conditioner get the furnace Free. Their estimate came in the middle of our previous estimates so we gave them the go ahead to install both units ASAP. They promised us next day install. They arrived the next day at the time they quoted 8:30 am. The crew worked for 4 hours removing and installing both units cleaned up their mess and hauled away the old equipment. For the price we paid we were happy with the service and new equipment installed.

Terrible value for the service. I paid over $300 to repair my furnace, and it broke within an hour of the technician leaving. I called Home Comfort Experts to discuss this absurdly poor service, and they refused to acknowledge that 30 minutes of a working furnace was a bad deal for me. In fact, they insisted that I had received their standard service. This is a terrible company.

In January 2023 we called Home Comfort Experts to come in and do an annual furnace check and to sign up to have the air conditioning checked in the Spring.
They arrived on time and were very nice and professional. Once the check was done we were told that we would need a new furnace or a very costly repair done. Pictures were shown to us so we would understand what was wrong.
New furnaces are running about $10,000. Needless to say we were shocked since the furnace was only 7-8 years old.
The difference options were reviewed and the bill was paid in full along with signing up for the annual service check for the air conditioner.
We decided to get a second opinion. The company that came told us nothing was wrong and provided us with pictures.
We called the office and talked to Rose. She was very nice and assured us they didn't do business that way and wanted to send out another technician. He arrived on time and was very professional. He too found nothing wrong and provided us with pictures.
We choose not to continue with Home Comfort Experts. Just didn't feel warm and fuzzy about diving into debt over nothing.
I agreed to pay for one service call but requested a cancelation and refund on the contract to have them come back. Rose agreed.
At present I have called 3 more times. Once I talked to Rose who told me she would start the return again, once she was on vacation and the 3rd time she would not take my call because she was talking to a customer.
I don't expect anything more to change, it's just not enough money for a company this size but I would like to remind everyone to get a second opinion when told you need a new furnace or air conditioner.
When I see the sign in the yards of customers thinking they are in good hands it makes me very sad to think of the debt they may incur needlessly.
The business we called for the second opinion is small family owned and has been around for 30+ years.
