Sandy D.Home Comfort Experts employee Tim Flora was great. He arrived promptly and greeted me very professionally. He and his helper Adam worked tirelessly all day to get the old a/c and heater unit out and the new ones installed. Tim went way beyond our expectations replacing old lines and vents with new ones and rerouting things to make it more efficient. When he was finished he stayed and cleaned up all the left over debris and then explained how the system works so that I understood and could program the thermostat myself. I would recommend Tim and Home Comfort Experts to anyone needing their heating and cooling systems replaced
Thank you, Tim for a job well done.
Jime H.Great service. Excellent explanation of the work they are about to perform and what is needed to be done in the future. Very happy with the service!
We had our kitchen redone requiring new plumbing under the sink. Home Comfort came and did the job. They arrived in a timely manner and were very professional. However, 3 months later, the pipes all came disconnected sending water all over- under the cupboards and all over the new laminate flooring we had installed. We used ever towel in the house plus 2 rolls of papertowels to clean up. Luckily there was no damage, and my husband reconnected the plumbing. When I called about it, there was even going to be a trip charge to check it. After they waved that, I was told any work to repair it would be chargeable. My husband said he will never have them touching anything in our house again. I doubt this will be left up on their comment page, but I hope they are honest enough to leave it. Never again....
We had Home Comfort come out to look at our furnace. The minute the guy hit the door he was all about the buy one get one free furnace/ac. I was like, are you a salesman or a repair man? He looked at the furnace and said we needed a new circuit board. He had a universal one with him. It was going to be a minimum of $800 dollars because he had to re-wire it because it's not the actual furnace part. Then he went on and on about the buy one get one free. By the time he was done with his little speech, we got the feeling he gets commission off of selling us a new stuff. We showed him the door. My husband got on Google, found the ACTUAL circuit board for our furnace. Guess how much it was? $100. No re-wiring, just plug it in. We got the furnace up and running. We noticed a couple days later we had some water on the floor. We called an independent guy and he found out our heat exchanger was out. Guess what.....Home Comfort never found that problem. The independent guy said it was still under warranty. It had a 25 year warranty on it and we had it for 19 years. Not only did we get a new upper heat exchanger but the manufacturer said they replace the lower with it as well. NO CHARGE, AND THE INDEPENDENT GUY REFUNDED US OUR MONEY BECAUSE THE MANUFACTURERE PAID HIM!!!! DON'T GO TO HOME COMFORT!! ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS SELL YOU STUFF YOU PROBABLY DON'T NEED. FIND AN INDEPENDENT GUY INSTEAD!!!!! Also Home Comfort told us it was $100 house call which is fine, but when he was done he tacked on an $88 fee for diagnostic which was not disclosed to us when we called for a price.
Kim N.Had a new ac/furnace installed this spring. Even though I was initially told they didn't have an installation appointment for at least a couple of weeks, the second my loan came back as approved, he miraculously claimed they would install it the very next day. Awesome! Everything seemed to be going great-until I received my warranty paperwork-made out in the wrong name. Now I have been calling periodically since around July, being assured I will receive my warranty paperwork in the correct name, and I have yet to receive it. I wish they'd get this taken care of instead of giving me the run-around. So, no, I will not recommend this company to anyone
I have used Home Comfort Experts several times and I am part of the preferred club (or whatever it's called). I have never had a worse experience than the one now. I called a month ago to get my ac fixed. I needed a txv and they were going to have to order it. Fine! A week later they called and said the valve was in and scheduled my installation. The day of installation I received a call that the part wasn't in yet. I asked the lady why they called to schedule installation if the part wasn't in. She replied with ""I don't know what to tell you, the parts not in."" Okay! So I wait a week and finally call and ask what's going on and am told that the part will be in next week. I never receive a call that next week. I call them the following week and they tell me the part is coming in on the next day's truck and they scheduled installation for the following day but would call me to confirm that the part was actually in. No call! I had to call them and they said the installation was confirmed and the technician would be out between 8:00 and 9:00. 9:18 still no call and no show. Decided to call and find out where they were and they said that he was in route but they weren't able to get him on the phone to get an eta. Said they would call back as soon as they heard from him. Never called me. He did finally show up at 9:30. (Normally 30 minutes late isn't a big deal but when I've waited a month during the hottest time of the year it is very frustrating) If this is how they treat preferred club members, I'd hate to see how they treated someone who wasn't.
Shawniece H.We started working with Home Comfort about a year ago when we had our furnace serviced before the winter. They scheduled us for that same week. Anyone that comes into the house puts on footies so they don't track in dirt or mud.
During the first service, they told us that our furnace was in great condition but our air conditioner was 20 years old and would need to be replaced soon. Which we decided to do this summer. We got a few estimates from other companies. What made Home Comfort stand out is that the salesman checked everything. He took measurements of the furnace, he checked the insulation in the attic, and the estimate was over $900 less than any other estimates we'd received.
Our new A/C was installed within 2 days. Our purchase included a vent cleaning that was also scheduled rather quickly. Customer service was outstanding. The vent cleaning was a 4 hour process, and Dave was super friendly. He even told us about an additional filtration system to help with my allergy issues. He noticed that our carbon monoxide detector was no longer working. He suggested a brand and even told us the best areas to install it.
Once all was said and done, we got a thank you note with a mug. It's the little things.
The nicest crooks you could have in your home
They tried to sell me a furnace and A/C unit for $8500.00 that Im having installed today for $2500.00 and then told me I needed $2,000 worth of duct work done on top of what they quoted me take your shit some where else and the trane you tried to sell me. What a joke. Your service is bullshit and lies.
DAnn M.Was quoted $89. For service parts additional...Was charged $89. For service and additional $89. For repairman to literally plug in power cord. Repairman stated he had to make it worth his while! He said I already incurred the additional $89. =$178. So he'd clean ignition. I was not asked if I agreed to an additional fee..no estimate. He also took filters out and left them out for me to clean. I feel robbed. I would not recommend. I am disabled on a limited income.
Chris E.Was charged twice for the service. Took three days to get straightened out. Not a very good first impression. Will likely take future business elsewhere.
