Thank you for responding to my comment HCA, but I didn't find this to be necessarily true and plenty of contractors give you quotes for free. Again, how else would one compare quotes? You get three (which is standard) and you are approx three hundred dollars in already before any work is done. I went with a different contractor here (with no fee) and am satisfied with the price and service.

It seems everything is great until it isn't. I held up my end of the deal, cordial and easy to work with, prepared for the workers and paid when asked. I appreciated all the staff and installers. I worked with and paid in full for the work. Now that the AC system isn't working no one will speak to me in the service dept. It makes me really sad and I thought more of this company when it started. I paid 10's of thousands of dollars and my contract, money and trust don't seem to be worth a phone call. It's been two weeks since the problem was diagnosed and my house was recently 80 degrees at 10p. When someone spends this much with your company you would think it warrant a discussion. Maybe this will help since talking to me doesn't seem to be an option.

This picture is the end result of their ""fix."" They filled the hole with putty and left. They told me to sand it when it dried, and that's what I did, only to find paper towels stuffed in the hole. This is how my trim now looks. Again, more work that I have to do to fix their mistakes. Avoid this company.

We recently bought a heat pump through Home Comfort Alliance. The purchase process was great. The sales rep was knowledgeable and gave us a very detailed, clear, and fair estimate.

The installation crew (Sam & Tony) are fantastic to work with. They are knowledgeable, communicate well, and have been wonderful to deal with.

The one reason why I'm not going 5 stars is that it's taking them 3 visits to finish the heat pump installation because of a missing part. Full disclosure, our system is a new system they have never installed before and is quite complicated. So, they are learning on us, and they are very up front about it. That said, it would have been great to have it installed with one visit.

I also got great help from Shasta in their office!

I would recommend them to anyone looking for a heat pump, and I would gladly go to them again!

I called this company to figure out why my heat pump wasn't working correctly. It was only a couple years old and still under warranty. The technician started swapping random parts, trying to figure it out and ended up charging me for all of his labor. One of the parts he swapped was the thermostat Which he charged me $350 to take one off the wall, put another one up that was the same and supposedly, re-programmed it. After getting to almost $1,000 in labor, he finally did find the problem which was some control board on the heat pump itself. This was last December. The other day I started my air conditioning and the system would not work, I could get it to come on in test mode so I knew the overall system was functional. I suspected it was the thermostat, so I called the company and asked them to send a technician out to finish the programming that wasn't done correctly. After hearing that they were going to charge me $190 for a trip fee. I decided that it was time to try a new contractor. The new company came out and set the thermostat up correctly in no time and their trip charge was a little over half of what MM Comfort Systems was going to charge me. The good thing that came out of this, I found a contractor that I can trust, and it's not MM Comfort Systems.

Im giving this review to the local HCA contractor M M Comfort Systems. ( 2 star rating because their technicians are/were solid.)
That said since the install was booked 10/2022 and performed we had to have them replace both the thermostat AND the WIFI adapter due to being defective. It took a direct call to COSTCO cust service to get a response from M M Comfort Systems. Now as the weather has warmed up we went to use our new AC And the effing condenser fan is frozen! The pump is cycling and immediately shutting of while getting dangerously hot.

Do not use this company. I reached this company via Costco, so if you are a Costco member and thinking of contracting through Costco think twice!

First the good, their techs, with the exception of their electrician, were friendly and hard working. The BAD, I bought a new heat pump and air handler from this company. Towards the end of the second day of the job the techs informed me that they were having issues connecting the air handler and heat pump to one another, and that a more senior tech would be out the next day. The next day came and went. Not only did no one show up, but I never even got a call with an update. The next day I was finally able to get a call returned, I was told that the part of the system needed to be swapped out and that they'd be back in touch. I heard nothing for several days and again calls were not returned. I emailed the sales associate, John, who was at least able to update me on what the issue was, but still there was no clear path to resolution or any attempt by the company to proactively reach out to me explaining the issue. Finally a crew arrived w/ a new air handler; however, after a few hours of work I was informed this unit wouldn't fit in the space and that another unit would have to be ordered. More time went by with NO communication from the company. Finally I was informed that the heat pump was the issue and that would need to be swapped out. With the system finally working the inspector came out. He had a callout that the system needed to be strapped down for seismic protection. To date the company has never made an attempt to address this callout by the inspector and has never called me. To add insult to injury I found that the company actually billed me credit card BEFORE the work was completed. Hours of my time wasted, an incomplete install, and awful customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IF USING COSTCO FOR HVAC WORK TRY TO GET A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO DO THE WORK!!!

Sam and Ryan came to my house to install our heat pump and air handler. So we may have AC and reduce our electricity bill as our home is all electric. Our current electricity bill runs us about $740-800/bi-monthly! Sam and Ryan are very thorough with their work and have explained everything to us every step of the way. I would recommend Home Comfort Alliance to all of my friends and family. Going through Costco gave us a major discount as well.

Our water heater suddenly stopped working and when i called the number on the heater, they told it could be spark plug issue. I got Home alliance contact from one of my friend and i called them told that this ""could"" be a problem..they sent electrician and he checked and told me that company should have sent a plumber and referred a plumber and they came and suggested a heater replacement and we got it fixed and is working fine so far. No complaints there till now.
But they sent me a bill for electrical charges and that i never received and after couple of months they called me asking for payment.
Since we have used their services and got installed a water heater which is quite expensive through them, i thought no need to pay inspection/visiting/troubleshooting charges as that's what any company does.
My previous experience with other companies - call someone, get a quote, if we agree to get the work done by them, no additional charges for inspection. Otherwise, pay them for visiting charges and find another company

But, here it seems there are 3 companies within 1 company and electric department is not concerned with plumbing and they said rudely that i have to pay for electrician charges..So, i paid anyway !!
Not satisfied with
1 - the way customer support spoke about the electrician bill
2 - Thought it as a single company, but seems each department is charging independently and no respect for customer who has just used their services and paid a big amount.

My initial review was written to reflect the situation at the time I wrote it. I am updating this accordingly, the operations team called me and helped address my grievance. They were polite, professional and demonstrated a focus on understanding the customer.

Originally, I thought I would never work with then again but one bad experience does not represent their organization and service. Their follow up and corrective actions reflect a commitment to make things right.

I will work with them again in the future and post additional reviews. I hope that they will all be positive.
