Company is great. Reminds us when service is needed but are never pushy. Reasonably priced and effecient.

Good price, salesman, and installers. Able to install an Ecco B to go along with our new furnace, which was great. Would give them 5 stars, but the guy they sent out for duct cleaning wasn't the friendliest or most straightforward. At least 4 people from the company had been out to look at our heating system prior to install and 3 looked at it post install and all had told me that we'd be able to get the ducts cleaned, however, once the guy got here from G&S heating, he not only argued with me about the pricing in spite of me pulling up an email from the company with pricing, but also said he couldn't clean most of the ducts secondary to our house being old. You would think the multiple other people from the company would've told us that before I stayed home from work. He also didn't offer to take off his shoes and blocked a lot of my neighbors driveway. He also told me that the furnace was too far from our master and that's why it wasn't heating as we expected in spite of the company telling me to get the furnace to help with heating the master...Anyway, my gripe is mostly with the duct cleaning and the service person they sent out, however, I really enjoyed working with this rest of the company!

16 year old electric furnace was obsolete and had to go. New Lennox Elite heat pump and air handler installed today by Mike, Isaac, Joey, Gary, and Cody. These guys know what they're doing and have fun doing their special type of work. They involve the customer and explain how everything works. The fact is, they are not just dedicated, well trained technicians, they are also people you enjoy spending time with. That tells me their employer makes a point of finding and keeping great people. I liked every one of them. Each one takes the time needed to do the job right. That means a lot to me. Everything was cleaned up and old machinery hauled away. G & S Heating and Cooling ROCKS! Thanks again, fellas. And, thanks to Jessie who bid the job and John who performed the design work. G & S will be doing our scheduled maintenance.

Bought a new furnace and had it installed yesterday. Service manager and installer were prompt, friendly, and answered all my questions. I was referred through Costco.

They are awesome and worth the wait to get things repaired. I have had them out to the house numerous times.

Current repairs: ceiling fan, lights in the TV room no longer work, Chicken coop chandelier install, Flood light at the back of the property need a special light bulb which stores don't sell.

Past: Install Dryer outlet in garage, worked on electrical in chicken coop, installed additional flood lights, installed timer lights for the outside lights, replaced a light fixture.

Future repairs: need the cat 5 cabling in the house completed.

They Do Not do landscape lighting. bummer.

Willy came out for a late call to fix a broken igniter on our furnace that was busted by the idiots who ""cleaned"" our furnace ducts and insisted on charging $1109.00 for a $55 cleaning. Thank goodness Willy knew what he was doing! He explained everything, fixed the issue quickly and we had our heat back on! He also gave us great advice as to stopping payment on the morons who came out and raped us for $1100!!! Not cheap, but worth every penny! Thanks to you folks we were toasty comfy and very happy!!! Highly recommend Willy!

G & S Heating, Monroe, WA, Price gouging!
G & S Heating quote to replace failed water heater thermocouple assembly: $600
I purchased the part from the manufacturer and replaced it myself: $125
I'll be looking for a new HVAC service company.

About 4 years ago, I bought a York furnace and standby generator from G&S. The furnace collection box cracked in several places and caused the furnace to stop heating in January 2016. An after-hours service call was $250 plus another $100 to have the technician clean the sensor, a fix that temporarily restored heat. Then company ordered a new collection box. The collection box is a known defect, and York should have done a recall, but they did not, and now York is not paying for the part either. However, G&S paid for the part, and I'm grateful for that.

Since it was January & it was cold, I assumed that G&S would have the part shipped express. Wrong. It took a full week to get the part. No one from the office ever called to let me know the status of the repair. If I wanted an update, I had to call them. (Side note: It's not like the company doesn't have my phone number. When they want to service my furnace and generator ($500 combined), they call repeatedly, and then they use high-pressure tactics to get me to sign up for servicing. $350 to service a generator? Toyota charges only $30 to change the oil in my vehicle...)

The three times I called the office, the people I spoke with were very nice, but having me call repeatedly didn't inspire any of them to take the initiative to call me with updates or to figure out that they could keep a customer both warm and happy by expediting the parts shipment.

Finally, eight days after the furnace went out, Allen, the technician came and installed the new collection box. I have only highest praise for Allen. He did a great job and is very knowledgeable.

This time with tax, the repair cost me $746, and that was only labor!!! Allen was here approximately 1 1/2 hours. Doing the math, G&S charged $497/hour. That's more than many attorneys, rocket scientists, and many doctors make. In short, I give Allen 5 stars. I give the G&S 2 maybe 3 stars since the customer service was virtually non-existant and the price was astronomical.

Our furnace decided it needed a break at a most inopportune time when it was freezing outside.

After searching through various reviews on the net and getting frustrated by the barrage of positive and negative results I decided to go with a recommendation from a relative that they had been happy with. I called a few places too but went with G & S.

With no heat we bit the bullet to have them come out that day. Luckily Eric A. was able to get there and quickly isolate the problem and had it back up and running properly in just over an hour and a half.
I was there with him and his straightforward get it done professionalism was a welcome relief -while he straightened out the rats nest of pinched wires that the previous outfit or the installers left and eventually shorted out over time. Luckily it was the low voltage side.

I'm glad I went this route because I just didn't have confidence (for good reason) with another place that came out for service the last time we had a problem.

Prompt service, very professional and polite service personnel. My only complaint is the price gouging. I was charged over $240 for an igniter that I priced online for under $40. I was charged $139 for the 30-45 minutes he was at my home, which I was fine with, even though the booking agent never told me that if the tech was there longer than 30 minutes I would be charged an additional $67. But the markup on the part was absolutely ridiculous. Because of this I will not be using them in the future.
