I called American Home Shield to get a water leak fixed as we had to turn off the water. After cutting into the wall really big, he said we would have to have either someone to cut through the board or they sent out an estimate of $885. for them to do it. And they said a re-pipe would be $6200 . Emerald, a reputable company, came out and is doing it for $4500. Still not fixed or any water. They will not call you back and I asked them to patch the hole and they said they could not do that. After they left, I found out they had done the """"patch"""" that I did not want done in my other room when we had a leak in Dec. and told me that the company said that is all they will let them do. They just don't want to do the job! They are the worst company I have ever worked with in my life! I am really surprised they are still in business. Disgusted and no water still!!!!!

I wish I could give this company zero stars. This is the worst plumbing company I have ever dealt with. We have now gone over two weeks since our plumber came out to say that there was a slab leak. For some reason he thinks the slab leak is in the wall, even though a slab is part of the floor. They refused to call us back to schedule the work and want us to pay in cash the entire bill before they even come out and schedule the work. Do not hire this company!

If I could give them zero I would. Worst company EVER! Like everyone else this was through AHS (it must be the only was they get business). Water heater not working, guy came out late on Friday said water heater had to be replaced but they wanted a """"level 2"""" technician to double check they couldn't swap out the part (water heater is 18 years old and there was a fire inside the unit and the part that was to be """"replaced"""" is corroded and no way replaceable) but I was patient. They said someone would be here Monday, no one showed, called AHS and they said someone would be here Tuesday between 8-12, no show. This company never even answers their phone....EVER! Then they told me if I paid $1200 they could replace my water heater tomorrow....WHAT?!?!? Now escalating through AHS. Sketchious company EVER!!!! If AHS assigns them tell them u want another company...immediately.

Plumber showed up basically said there was nothing wrong, took the shower head off and put it back on. I realized after he left that he had broken the shower head and created a leak. I couldn't get a manager from the company to take my call to come back and fix it.

American Home Shield sent them out. Water heater pilot light went out. They came out. I pay them and tipped the guy. Two days later same problem. Same guy came back out. He could not relight it. He had a part he thought would fix it. Could not figure it out. Room smelled of gas. He decided it was the valve. I did not trust he knew what he was doing. I had him shut the gas off. Sent a text to see when they would be back out. They said 7 days. Total BS..... Both companies are criminal! They have almost $1000.00 from me and I have to go with no hot water. I have no confidence they can fix it at all!

These people were sent through American Home Shield, so I paid $75 for a service call. Technician came. Told me I had a leaky faucet. Told him I already knew that; that's was why I requested the service. He said he couldn't fix it until I ordered a replacement, since it had a lifetime warranty. Tried to explain since I wasn't the original purchaser, the lifetime warranty didn't apply. He filed the report anyway, which means no repair, and I still have a leaky faucet. Called American Home Shield; they blamed the technician. Called Home Choice Services. They said to call American Home Shield. Said I had already done that, and since their technician was at fault, it seemed they should take responsibility. Basically, the office manager said I was screwed. Still no repairs. Out $75. Don't use these guys.

This company is not at all dependable. I put a service request in the tech came out stated we need a new water heater. Water heater was purchased and for whatever reason I cannot get ahold of anyone at 407.383.0105 they keep texting from a 888 number and has the unit just sitting there and not even scheduling the service at hand. This is a joke! Not sure what kind of operation they are running here though definitely not a good one. I am reporting to better business bureau.

The service tech came check water heater leaking said that it Needed to be replace. The send the information AHS. Ahs said send me Email that I had to pay For water modificatio line $385. However lines they look good. Call AHS they said that water heater replace is ok, but I have to pay for water line modification. I say home choice is making charge. They have done this before on prevoius reviews. Call them for the past two days wont answer phone and technician wont answer cell phone. I am stuck with bad leaking water heater. My mistake for not checking on line..

This company is pathetic. They were first dispatched by AHS in January when my tub leaked and flooded the bathroom. They never showed up and then marked the ticket as closed. Claimed i wasn't home. Sorry buffoons but I work from home and kept the security camera footage that shows no one ever came to my house. I ended up fixed the leak myself. This week, my master bathroom had a stoppage and sewage coming back up the bath, shower and toilet. AHS sent these clowns again and this time they actually showed. Used the cleanout for the other side of the house, then said he would have to go through the toilet but would have to charge me $285 to take it off. Told him I could loosen two nuts and take it off myself. Then he told me it was roots but no proof. FInally when I went to take the toilet off, he said he couldn't wait and would have to come back. Never did and then Home Choice texted and said I would have to pay them as roots are not covered. I told them to come out and prove roots are the problem and I'll apologize and pay for it. Called AHS and told them I was cancelling my policy because of this. They countered with sending another company. I agreed because I already wasted $100 for the Service Request. They sent Robbie from ALL HOURS EMERGENCY PLUMBER and what a difference. Professional guy and he cleared the clog in like 5 minutes. NO ROOTS. HCS, you are a disgrace and a scam. If you have AHS and get these guys, call and tell them you want ALL HOURS.

American Home Shield sent this company to my home because we had a clogged toilet that we couldn't resolve ourselves. They sent two young men who just showed up with out making an appointment. They did show us that roots were in the main line and very visible once the cap was open, but insisted they needed a camera to further investigate it before addressing it that would cost us an additional $500. There were only bushes near the main line and I knew they were just trying to increase the bill. I called the company several times and left messages over the course of a week and they did not call me back once! Their techs were very nice, but this company cost me $100 paid to AHS for very inexperienced technicians thru a company who had ZERO customer service nor the courtesy to even return my phone call I called Modern Plumbing Industries directly who responded immediately, fixed the issue in an hour without the need for a camera and had great followup. They saved me quite a bit if money, were very helpful and honest. I highly recommend this this company instead!!!!
