Like others, I would give them zero stars, but you cannot. Via American Home Shield, I was serviced by Home Choice Services but the large charges were made by Blu Plumbing Inc. This was the worst experience ever, with nothing but trying to upsell bigger and bigger things to fix a leak in a pipe, which they DID NOT fix. Ultimately, they falsely told us that we would have to re-pipe our entire house. They were impossible to reach, and late for every appointment. I have now been without water for a week, with more time to go as I wait for someone else to take care of the leak. He informed me that my pipes are all good, except the section where the leak is. Beware, I will never ever do business with them again, and suggest that you do not. I have informed American Home Shield of the same, and that they should never do business with them.

If it were possible I would give these clowns a ZERO. DO NOT ALLOW these people in your home. They were assigned to fix a garbage disposal through American Home Shield - another one of my questionable choices. Anyway, they replaced the disposal with a much more inferior unit( power and function) and botched the install causing drain water to back flow into my dishwasher. 2 more attempts to fix it later, the service tech shows up and refuses to remove his shoes upon entering my home. Then has the nerve to state I should be providing booties if I don't want him to wear shoes in the house. The back flow problem is still not properly fixed.

Company was assigned by American home shield, they caused additional damage and will not answer any calls or texts from us. They then quoted to repair the damage caused by their own company. Stay away from this company, we will be filing additional complaints about the damage caused.

They have been sent to my home twice for two separate issues by the warranty company. Both times they did not fix anything.

I called American Home Shield to get a water leak fixed as we had to turn off the water. After cutting into the wall really big, he said we would have to have either someone to cut through the board or they sent out an estimate of $885. for them to do it. And they said a re-pipe would be $6200 . Emerald, a reputable company, came out and is doing it for $4500. Still not fixed or any water. They will not call you back and I asked them to patch the hole and they said they could not do that. After they left, I found out they had done the """"patch"""" that I did not want done in my other room when we had a leak in Dec. and told me that the company said that is all they will let them do. They just don't want to do the job! They are the worst company I have ever worked with in my life! I am really surprised they are still in business. Disgusted and no water still!!!!!

I wish there was ZERO-star option! Home Choice Services has proven to be incompetent, unreliable, and untrustworthy. A technician was in my home more than 30 days ago for my leaking water heater, he immediately identified that a replacement unit was required. He informed me that he would notify American Home Shield and start the replacement process. This was a blatant lie. When I contacted AHS a week later they did not have any information regarding the replacement order. Both I and American Home Shield have been trying to reach the vendor for more than 30 days. Multiple email, voicemails and phone calls have been met with ZERO response.

Company stood me up Thursday Company stood me up Friday Showed up Monday without asking, I told them no I'm not free Monday I need Tuesday Refused to refund me my $100 So now I'm out time and money. Tec never even looked at my sink, Fighting with them now can't get a call back. They have voicemail only. Will update if I ever see my money but I won't.

american shield hired you to fix my toilet on 9/30. i called several times to set up a time. you did not call me back. i texted you. you did not respond. you did not in anyway shape or form try to contact me. then i got an appt time of 7 a.m. on october 4th from american home shield then... you should up on 10/3 at 1 p.m. without an appointment. i work!!! i called american shield and they confirmed that you would be here today, 10/4. once again, you did not show up. i have ring and was able to see you there on oct 3, but we told the technician you were not due until today, oct 4th. so unprofessional. i am 73 years old and still work. i do not have time for this. if you had just called or texted me back, this could have all been avoided. i texted and called at least 10 times maybe more. there is no ariana!!! i want my money back from ahs. they have to confirm that you did not show up this morning. please do that immediately so i can get my service contract money back. i wish i had seen the terrible reviews you got. i would have not have ahs hire you. i called ahs this morning to repeat this entire again.. they are contacting the contractual department to review what you did.. or did not do. wait.. there's more!! they lied to american home shield and said they tried to call me... they did not and i got my money back from american home shield. joanna rubino

Steer clear! Surmised I had a leak somewhere because monthly water usage skyrocketed. HCS was selected/directed through American Home Shield. Getting appointment within 48 hours was fine. Plumber was sent out, looked around property in and out (to my untrained eye seemed to be thorough).Surmised that I had a slab leak outside not covered by AHS. Had the company check through AHS for sure and provide me quote to fix and I would pay them directly. Thought everything was fine and got text from HCS regarding my availability which I provided for next 5 days. After hearing nothing for a couple of days, I tried calling HCS - at least 5 times with messages - never got a live person, just a voicemail message. Then I proceeded to sent note back to to text message which again asked me about availability...again. For 4 days, I kept following up the text message asking when I was going to get an appointment and was told that the dispatcher was working on it. Caught the other end in a lie when one day after telling me that appointment was set and confirmation would be sent shortly that dispatcher was working on it. This could be an automated system they are using but, regardless, shoddy customer service. I convinced AHS to send out another company for second opinion and this person isolated source of leak outside, not a slab leak but a faulty pool valve. So aside from poor customer service, tech got it wrong and I would've been paying $500 for no resolution. Even now over a week later, have gotten nothing from HCS about scheduling appointment, though I have no use for the at this point. Rating is a 1 because no option for zero.
