The came to fix or replace my garbage disposal after contracting with American home shield for our warranty. The 19 year old kid that came to replace it brought a $60 disposal and was completely clueless when I was inquiring and asking specific questions about the brand, horsepower, and comparable quality of the model I have vs the cheap junk they tried to replace it with. The kid called the owner and he refused to replace my garbage disposal with a comparable model. The owner was also extremely rude and said you get what you get, call American home shield. This was the actual worst customer service I've ever received and typically we have great experiences. Basically, they take your money to come out and use cheap fixes so they make more money. They are definitely scammers beware!

We paid a service fee for this company to come look at our water heater. They texted an arrival timeframe of 10:00-10:30 AM. They showed up at 7:20 PM. Since no one was home at that time, they said they would only come back out if we paid another service fee. Then they would not return phone calls or texts.

Terrible company used by American home shield, they take the money paid to come out and never come back. They lack communication by not returning calls. Don't use them unless you wanna get scammed

Work request through ahs for leaky faucet, tech said it's a delta faucet and for me to contact them for the part (Unbelievable). Contacted delta faucet 2x they stated it's not their brand. Several emails and voice mail sent to Home Choice Service via ahs and myself the customer with no response for days. Requested to AHS assigned a reputable company and not this fraud company. Faucet not repaired! do not utilized this fraud company as stated previously by a former employee who was discussed by their practice.

Hi, I worked for this company for a year as one of the dispatchers. I can confirm, that they do not care about anything other than money. They get old water heaters from shady deals, they use a lot of the money to gamble at casinos (usually off-shore boats since gambling is illegal in FL); they fly out to Brazil (their home country) often to gamble, drink, eat, and waste money. Then come back and demand their employees change how to operate the phones after reading bad reviews. Scheduling: You never get an exact time because the owners refuse to allow us to put in exact times. They said it holds them liable. So we have blocks (it makes sense some jobs take longer than others but that doesn't excuse the lack of service). The owners also forced us to offer mold cleaning services from their friend's businesses for """"kickback"""". I can't tell you how angry this made me. I had to offer additional services and hated every second of those painful, confusing phone calls. Oh, and they take advantage of the old and disabled communities. I had a sweet man who would call, he had a speech impediment and memory loss. He waited for a full month to be Serviced. Living in his filth because we had other customers the owner wanted to cram on the schedule. His answer: """"Oh, we can just move his appointment because he won't remember anyway"""". They do not hold their technicians accountable, they hold the office staff accountable. The office staff (when I was there it was just me and one other girl) get blamed for technicians. They hire bad/untrained techs; I worked with a literal 17/18-year-old who was """"training"""" to be a plumber and got put on solo jobs. He would get angry often and was charming so he got away with it, oh and he was the owner's """"son"""". I recommend paying out of pocket for a better plumber. This place is terrible and before I left they were planning to keep this business open as a front for their second plumbing business """"Blue"""". Be careful. They do not care about you, they will make excellent arguments and always always always choose the money. I am so sorry for their terrible business. I hated working here knowing I was scheduling people only to know the problem wouldn't be fixed. They get a flat fee every time they drive to your home. No matter what. So even if they don't fix anything or you are in the bathroom and can't get to the door in time so they leave, they still get that flat fee. So he crams as many appointments into the weekdays as possible to get that travel fee from your insurance (always AHS). That's what the owner wants. To be able to say """"they went"""" so he gets the money to go back to Brazil or gamble. TL;DR Don't use them. I worked there. It's all true. They want the service fee, not to service you. They use cheap plastic parts because your insurance does not pay them for the same products unless you have a warranty. In which case save yourself the fee, call your warranty number / the original manufacturer and hire an outside plumber. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE. Your money goes to Brazilian Steak houses and Trips to Brazil to play cards and gamble!!!!

Do not use these people. They have refused for over a month to return to fix a leak after they took my money and it continued to leak. The owner of the business cancelled my recall with AHS after I called back and said it is still leaking. It is an under kitchen sink leak. They would get a zero if I cd give that. Buyer beware!

Like others, I would give them zero stars, but you cannot. Via American Home Shield, I was serviced by Home Choice Services but the large charges were made by Blu Plumbing Inc. This was the worst experience ever, with nothing but trying to upsell bigger and bigger things to fix a leak in a pipe, which they DID NOT fix. Ultimately, they falsely told us that we would have to re-pipe our entire house. They were impossible to reach, and late for every appointment. I have now been without water for a week, with more time to go as I wait for someone else to take care of the leak. He informed me that my pipes are all good, except the section where the leak is. Beware, I will never ever do business with them again, and suggest that you do not. I have informed American Home Shield of the same, and that they should never do business with them.

If it were possible I would give these clowns a ZERO. DO NOT ALLOW these people in your home. They were assigned to fix a garbage disposal through American Home Shield - another one of my questionable choices. Anyway, they replaced the disposal with a much more inferior unit( power and function) and botched the install causing drain water to back flow into my dishwasher. 2 more attempts to fix it later, the service tech shows up and refuses to remove his shoes upon entering my home. Then has the nerve to state I should be providing booties if I don't want him to wear shoes in the house. The back flow problem is still not properly fixed.

Company was assigned by American home shield, they caused additional damage and will not answer any calls or texts from us. They then quoted to repair the damage caused by their own company. Stay away from this company, we will be filing additional complaints about the damage caused.
