Dan Holthaus, our owner, has been immersed in the plumbing industry since 1986. Dan has accumulated over three decades of experience in plumbing for homes and businesses. In 2012, he decided to channel his years of experience into his own venture as a licensed plumbing contractor. We operate as a subcontractor for plumbing and appliance installations at 10 Lowe's stores, provide services for Amazon, and serve as a personal plumbing contractor for those requiring plumbing or appliance installations.

Dan grew up in Huntington, Indiana. During his high school years, he started working at Mann's Inc, a company specializing in plumbing and HVAC. Following high school, he attended four years of plumbing school, obtaining his journeyman plumbing license in 1991. In his more than 30 years in the field, he has tackled both new plumbing installations and service work in residential and commercial properties. After launching his own business in 2012, Dan further advanced his credentials by passing the plumbing contractor's exam for Indiana. In 1989, Dan married his wife, who is now the co-owner and business manager of Holthaus Plumbing. They have four children together, with three now contributing to the Holthaus Plumbing team.
