With a career in plumbing that began in 1986, our owner, Dan Holthaus, brings extensive knowledge to the table. Dan has accumulated over three decades of experience in plumbing for homes and businesses. In 2012, he decided to channel his years of experience into his own venture as a licensed plumbing contractor. Holthaus Plumbing collaborates with 10 Lowe's stores for plumbing and appliance installations, works with Amazon for installation services, and offers personal plumbing contracting for various clients.

Dan grew up in Huntington, Indiana. While in high school, he began his career at Mann's Inc, a plumbing and HVAC company. After graduating, he completed four years of plumbing school and earned his journeyman plumbing license in 1991. His career spans over 30 years, during which he has worked on new installations and service plumbing for both homes and businesses. After establishing his business in 2012, Dan took his licensing to the next level by passing the plumbing contractor's exam for the state of Indiana. Dan married his wife in 1989, who serves as the co-owner and business manager of Holthaus Plumbing. Together, Dan and Leanne have four children, three of whom are now part of the Holthaus Plumbing team.
