I had a clogged kitchen sink and called Holmstad's after receiving an outrageous estimate from another company (had to pay $76 for the estimate). Holmstad's gave me a quote over the phone and while there were no guarantees it would be that amount, it came in $5 under and was less than half of what the other company would have charged. Trent was great, due to the way my sink is installed it was difficult to unclog but he got the job done. I highly recommend Trent and Holmstad's!

Had then out again about a month ago because 2 of my sinks started leaking because they had rusted through. They charges me a fair price, were friendly while working, and did a very nice job on the installation. I stand by my original 5 Star review.

I had recently retired and bought a home. We needed a new water heater installed. We looked online and made an appointment for ""plumbing"". Two young guys showed up who claimed to be plumbing technicians. They talked a great game but were stumbling and very spendy. We needed further work and found a ""plumber "" in Monroe with all of the credentials and letters after his name. He said he could ""do it all"". Actually, He could sell rain to the clouds and lie better than satan. Ouch a disaster. My wife eventually talked to Terry at Holmstad Plumbing in Everett. We have called them a number of times and they have Real plumbers on duty when you need them. They handle complicated jobs with no problems. On one job, Terry reviewed our bill, after we had paid and found they had charged too much. He refunded the overcharge. What a surprise. God Bless those guys !

They fit me in with an appointment within 3 days despite it was the week after the Great Freeze. Plumber arrived prompt l y. Pinpointed 3 problems under my kitchen sink that caused leaking. Trent was courteous, friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable. Have used them in the past and will use them again.

A neighbor recommended them to me to repair a leaking copper pipe caused by electrolysis. Terry, Trent, and John did an amazing and impressive job of finding the leaks and replacing the old copper pipe with PEX. They were very friendly, professional, informative, on time, and efficient. Extremely mediocre from the moment of no one showing up for the appointment due to not asking for a call back number, to having to reschedule after they finally got to my house, right down to being told I had to pay 435$ for the disposal when I was quoted at 375$ -- other places selling the exact same disposal for less than 300$ in several places. The overcharge is outrageous.

Being told I'd get my card charged the following day and a receipt emailed which was never done, I had to call to remind them to get on it nearly 5 days later because I had a time frame to obtain this receipt for warranty purposes to send out. The overall experience wasn't what I wanted for my first contractor job on my new house and it ended up being unnecessary stress. I ended up paying more for 40 minutes of work installing disposal than it cost for me to get rear end kit work, a new battery, oil change AND labor of 3 hours into my car.

I was blown away.
The gentleman seemed nice enough but very lax in the organizational department and the overcharge was too much for me to want to go back for anything in the future.

I just had the most amazing experience I have ever had with a plumber. Terry and Dale came to the house on Camano Island to help figure out why the water pressure was so low in the laundry room. After diagnosing the problem, we figured out the faucets were plugged really bad. Not only were the faucets plugged there was an issue with the piped in the crawl space. Because they were only coming out to diagnosis the problem, they didn't charge me for the amount of time it took to figure out that it was just the faucet screens that needed to be replaced. I found their work to be top notch, their professionalism to be unbeatable and their honest to be very refreshing. I will never use another plumber again. Thank you Terry and Dale for doing such an outstanding job.

A friend recommended Holmstad's Plumbing to me, and I'm glad she did. Terry was able to see solutions to a couple of problems that another plumber told me had no solution. Dale did a great job replacing a number of valves including the main turnoff and pressure regulator. Terry replaced my kitchen faucet, working in a very tight space. I let him choose the faucet, and he made an excellent choice. While they were working, I learned some things about plumbing from both Terry and Dale, and I now understand my system much better. Both men are friendly and respectful and careful and competent. I've had some bad experiences with other plumbers, so I am relieved to have finally found plumbers I can trust.
