I had this great contractor Alan Flynn come to my home and lay flooring for the there rooms and fix the dry wall that needed to be replaced. Alan did an excellent job and I didn't have any issues and he was very professional . I will hire Alan again.

I placed a post online requesting to hire a contractor to perform repair work to a security fence on a residential property. I chose Alan Flynn of Hollywood construction to perform the work. I was provided with a quote, with 50% deposit due to do the work. I agreed to these terms signed a contract & paid the deposit. The job duration was quoted to be Friday May 26th through Saturday May 27th. He showed up to the job site on Friday, but then called to ask for the other half of the money before the job was even complete (to cover a cell phone bill due that day), but I did not do it. He showed up on Saturday to allegedly complete the job, but then called/texted me multiple times within an hour to inform me that he was done & billed me for the remaining portion of the money. I replied to him that I would visit the site to confirm that the work had been completed. When I got there the site, fence, & ground was in shambles. I called to get an explanation & he acted like everything was fine & he did his job well. I told him that the fence looked horrible, the gate was lopsided & gapped from the actual fence & there was rotten wood, broken concrete & pulled up dirt/sand all over my backyard. Then he proceeded to ask for more money to fix only the gate portion of the fence. DO NOT hire this so-called business. This guy is a scammer, a fraud & a thief.
