I was having hot water heater issues . I called them -and they came out soon after my call. They are so nice and so professional and they diagnosed and fixed my issue . I thought the price was fair .ive used other companies in town and am co rodent in saying these guys have been the best .

Update: While Charles and Coy were here fixing the washing machine water source we told them of a problem we've had since our home was built - the time it takes to get hot water to our bathroom. Charles suggested a recirculating system that includes a timer at the water heater and a valve at the furthest sink. I read a little about the product on line and asked them to return and install one. They arrived on schedule and completed the installation in short order. The best part is we have almost "instant hot water" in our bathroom. Previously it would take several minutes to get hot. That may not seem like a real crisis UNLESS you are on a rainwater collection system in drought-prone Texas. While we have 60,000 gallon capacity, it only takes a few months of the summer drought to bring that down significantly. Long and short - Charles made a great suggestion, he and Coy installed the system, and we have "instant hot water". Thanks to Holloway.

Cannot thank you enough for sending such a courteous, punctual, professional team to save the day! They were quick but very thorough, stayed to test everything to make sure it was in proper working order, and the entire cost (parts, labor, trip charge, etc.) was reasonable and they made sure I was in agreement, BEFORE they began the work. Thank you again, I would recommend Holloway Plumbing anytime!

One of the best plumbing experiences I've ever had. Plenty of prior arrival notice, hands-on, professional service with a successful outcome. I have more work for this company and will not hesitate for one moment to contact/work with them again. Henry T.

No! No! No! We were very disappointed that Scott, the salesman/installer, UPSOLD us a $2200 electric tankless water heater, rather than a regular lowboy water heater, which is what we requested! We were told by him that a regular lowboy water heater would not fit in our attic, so we took his word and bought the tankless. After other unrelated issues, we had another plumber install WHAT WE ASKED FOR at ONE THIRD of the cost! We even had Damon, the president, come out, hoping for some compensation for the upscale. His answer was a regular lowboy water heater would fit (duh!) for another $2500! So, we are out over $2000 because they wouldn't listen and respond to their NEVER AGAIN customer! Buyer beware!

I called them on a Monday morning, non-emergency. They called and set up appointment for Thursday morning. I received a text, an email and a phone call to let me know the plumber was on the way. He looked over what I needed, gave me an estimate, then did the work. He showed me the damaged components and billed ma a fair price. Very clean, courteous and quick.
I have used Holloway several times, and always have done a good job, very professional. I highly recommend them.

Very expensive. Could not get estimated cost over phone and was told there was a $39 dispatch fee. Simple kitchen faucet replacement and I supplied the faucet. They not only charged the dispatch fee but additional $$$ on top of that. They did give me a quote before starting. But they were already here and I had agreed to the dispatch fee over the phone. The two guys were here for less than a half hour. Will look elsewhere next time.

I can't even begin to fathom the nightmare we just went through with this company. $1,300.00 dollars later and a hefty water cleanup bill from Servpro I was told they will not be refunding me anything. My water heater started a leaking one night. I call the plumbers the next morning and Justin came out to my property. The water heater had started to leak but luckily there was a pan. The tech cleaned up the water and told me not to worry there was a slight leak at the bottom where you drain the water heater. He also informed me that a new element was needed. I agreed to the $1,000.00 dollar bill knowing that plumbing is something best left to the professionals. The same night water poured all over the floor and under my washing machine which later caused the laminate to buckle, so I called them back assuming that considering it was the same problem I had called them out here for that they would fix the problem under a warranty sort of situation. This time another gentleman came out. I was told that the water heater was beyond repair and that I had to absolutely have it replace or else the leaking would get worse due to rust in the tank. I asked them if they would give me a discount for miss diagnostic that was done yesterday and considering there was a brand new element in the water heater. I was told no and they slapped me with another $2,500.00 estimate for upgrading my water heater to city codes. Considering that my water heater was less than 8 years old and all previous work had been done by Holloway I can't imagine what upgrades were needing to be done or why it wasn't under a warranty by the manufacturers. I ended up calling another company in town and I was able to speak with the owner who quickly got a tech out to my home and found out the issue was in fact no even with the water heater but with the connections to the water heater. They replaced the water heater connections and discounted my bill to make up for what Holloway had miss-charged me. Moral of the story is do not let this company touch your plumbing with a 10 foot pole.

Very efficient but super expensive. He did save us money by giving us a one minute review on how to put filters in.

Requested service around 10:00 pm last night. Tech called at 7:30 am today, arrived at 8:30. By 8:45 had diagnosed bad upper element. Said price was ~$380 to replace element - although element was under warranty (around 12 months old) and was being provided at no charge by Ferguson supply. When I questioned the price they then explained that they are a flat-rate repair service only, although they couldn't explain the method they used to calculate the price - perhaps it was to pay the labor of the 2nd tech who was apparently training. I called American Plumbing in Fredericksburg which quoted me $85/hour, so I paid Holloway $39 for the visit and let them leave without repairing. Perhaps there are enough customers who don't question their flat-charge pricing and who keep Holloway in business, but when it's so obviously a ripoff (a new water heater would be cheaper) it's amazing they continue to do business this way - which leads me to question their reviews on Google! So, I called American Plumbing Service and Jesse responded at my house in 1 hour, with the no-charge element from Ferguson, drained Heater (with a pump to speed draining) replaced element and charged me 1 hour labor or $85.00. Thanks Jesse!! It was a pleasure and you saved me ~$300!
