They did the plumbing on a recent bathroom remodel.

The tub they installed was lower than normal, and they said it would cost $600 to replace it with a normal one. So, we're stuck with the low one. Functionality.

They installed a brand of shower valve that was not compatible with the fixtures I had purchased. They neglected to tell me the brand they had installed. So, I had to return the fixtures I had purchased that matched the rest of the bathroom and purchase new ones on a moment's notice. The new ones work fine, but don't match the rest of the bathroom. Aesthetics.

The tub has the brand name permanently affixed to the outside of the tub. It's ugly and can't be removed. See attached photo. Aesthetics.

They installed the sink valves such that they can only be turned off by first moving the entire vanity to the right. This is totally wrong. See attached photo. Functionality.

On a positive note, there haven't been any leaks yet. Also, the items that they purchased and installed are very good quality.

Scheduled an appt with Holeshot to get a bid for some work to be done to finish our basement and no one ever showed up for the appt. I didn't receive any phone caller ring me know they would be late or not able to make the appt and I called heir number three separate times with no answer or ability to leave a voicemail. Really disappointed with the lack of service, especially since other reviews made it seem like working with Holeshot would be a good experience.

Holeshot Plumbing helped us update our dishwasher and add an RO system in the kitchen. They were awesome. They were priced reasonably, and were very responsive when we called. We now call them for any plumbing needs we have.

I just completed tile installation in a new home where the rough-in plumbing was done by Holeshot. The work quality was poor, making my job much harder than it should have been. Two examples:
1) The plumbing below the basement floor was originally installed in the wrong location (contrary to drawings), requiring a return visit for concrete removal and replacement. The repaired concrete was placed much too high, requiring both grinding and application of an expensive leveling agent. Additionally two large holes were left in the existing floor that I was required to fill with concrete before placing floor tile.
2) Where wood framing happened to be in the way of plumbing components, existing studs were simply removed, leaving spacing between studs of up to 32 inches, clearly too wide for tile application. Repairing the framing after plumbing components were installed proved difficult.

If you are looking for even moderate quality work on rough-in plumbing, look elsewhere.

I was impressed with how soon they were able to make an appointment. They were on time. I was having some back up in my basement drain from the washer. I thought it needed snaked. The guy who came assessed the situation and deduced that it most likely wasn't plugged, but was another issue. He didn't charge me for his time figuring out what was wrong. He was honest and did a great job explaining the real problem to me. I appreciated his honesty and not wasting my time or money for something that wasn't the real issue.
