Our history traces back to when Thomas Hogan came to California from Boston in the early 1900s to start a plumbing company. By gaining recognition in Pasadena for installing bathrooms in expansive homes, he established a reputation grounded in work ethic. Today, Jim Hogan manages the family business.
Jim, a lifelong Californian, has deep roots in the family business that began in 1903 in Los Angeles. He studied mechanical engineering, pipe design, layout, and estimating for five years. In 1980, he took over the family business, and in 1982, he designed the first approved Residential Fire Sprinkler System in the U.S., later spending years refining systems with local Fire Departments. He has expertise in high-rise buildings, laboratories, schools, homes, and California State Parks. He holds valid mechanical licenses and is bonded and insured.

Val S.We recently had a plumbing project completed by Hogan Plumbing and I've got to say it was the greatest ""plumber"" experience I've ever encountered. We needed drain pipes repaired, replaced and lined. Lots of digging and concrete slab demo within the house, the garage and the front yard. Hogan's team was amazing, Jeremiah, Greg, Dean and owner Jim. What a great group of guys. The project took a number of days to complete and the crew always came early, quit late, worked quickly and cleaned up throughly. Their knowledge and expertise saved us so much time and $$$. They are the Greatest and we couldn't be Happier.

Hogan plumbing was called out for initial drain stoppage ($400 then charged $580) - they never ""solved: the problem and wanted to charge more money for another visit. I ended up renting some equipment and cleaning out the drain myself.
