Jonas came out on a Saturday to check on a propane leak at the shutoff valve. Confirmed multiple leaks including at the secondary relief valve. I had called Ferrellgas about trying to a replacement and they suggested that we try to take it apart and clean it. Jonas did that and was able to address all the leaks. In addition Jonas suggested we cover the vent leading under our home that is located at the shutoff. I did as he suggested.

Great service. Great attitude. They are my new go to plumbers in Tahoe.

We have used Hoffman Plumbing occasionally over the years and have always been very happy with their prompt and thorough response to our needs. But Nate went above and beyond when I left a message last Saturday night. Hoffman Plumbing was the only one to respond of the seven businesses I called and Nate came out at about 9:30 pm to take care of a problem that our weekend renters were having. Great service! Integrity at its finest! These guys are on it! My house was freezing so I thought my heater was broken. They came right out ti the cabin to let us know it was the propane. I guess with all the snow we burned through it a little quicker that we thought. I really appreciated the quick service that Hoffman plumbing gave us since we typically have to turn our vacation rental over pretty quickly! As far as plumbing they are at the top of our list! Thanks guys!

These guys are solid. Family run and operated in the mountains for over 20 years - these guys have seen it all. The whole team, starting at the front office, is super friendly and knowledgeable. I will not use anyone else.

This is a small local company that does mediocre work, however the biggest issue with them is that once they have your credit card number they begin adding charges long after the job is completed without authorization or notification - probably counting on the fact that people won't dispute them. So be for-warned about their shoddy business practices and choose one of the other more honest local plumbers. (And that's putting it nicely!).
PS - Loved the way that Karri in their office lost her temper and cursed us out.......totally unprofessional and rude. Our neighbors witnessed the conversation and chose another company for a major job as a result.
UPDATE: The owner indicated that they are amenable to work out issues, however after being cursed out by Karri no one has bothered to reach out to us at all. Very disappointing.

I have been using Hoffman Plumbing for over 20 years, from fixing leaky faucets, garbage disposal replacement, and pressure regulator valve to the installation of an on-demand water heater. They are always fast, fair friendly and efficient. Most importantly they are reliable. I would not dream of going anywhere else for my plumbing needs.
