This is a small local company that does mediocre work, however the biggest issue with them is that once they have your credit card number they begin adding charges long after the job is completed without authorization or notification - probably counting on the fact that people won't dispute them. So be for-warned about their shoddy business practices and choose one of the other more honest local plumbers. (And that's putting it nicely!).
PS - Loved the way that Karri in their office lost her temper and cursed us out.......totally unprofessional and rude. Our neighbors witnessed the conversation and chose another company for a major job as a result.
UPDATE: The owner indicated that they are amenable to work out issues, however after being cursed out by Karri no one has bothered to reach out to us at all. Very disappointing.

I have been using Hoffman Plumbing for over 20 years, from fixing leaky faucets, garbage disposal replacement, and pressure regulator valve to the installation of an on-demand water heater. They are always fast, fair friendly and efficient. Most importantly they are reliable. I would not dream of going anywhere else for my plumbing needs.

The Hoffman's are very reliable, and prompt. They keep their appts. We use them for our cabin opening and closing. Takes the worry out of Cabin closing screw up. Awesome service from the guy who came out I think his name was Joe. Very friendly I called on Saturday when they normally don't work when we had a pipe break while me, my wife and newborn were up at our family's cabin in Tahoe. He came and was very friendly, knowledge, did an awesome job and left zero mess. I hope everyone uses them, they are my go to plumbing company in Tahoe from now on.

Prompt. Efficient. We needed a couple of toilet replaced and they returned our call in a half an hour, discussed our options and the next day they did the work. They kept us up to date on their schedule and were here when they said they would be. They cleaned up after the installation to the point you would not even know work had been done.
