We've had a problem with our shower head leaking hot water profusely for about 4 months. We hired a retired plumber which was recommended by a family member, and did very minimally where the leak stopped. Temporarily. The shower head leak restarted again after a month, with a vengeance. We've had 2 other plumbers come in since to look at the problem, and both times we were told they would have to crack the wall tiles and open up the dry wall to fix the problem. You can only imagine how we felt about that! We said thank you, but no thank you, because we felt there must be another way without having to crack any wall tiles and open up the dry wall. My husband and I desperately looked for a reputable plumbing company and came across H.N. Harris Plumbing at Yelp. Of course we read all the reviews, both positive and negative, and decided we will still try them out. I called them this morning at 11 a.m. explaining our plumbing issues, and we were given a time slot between 3-4 p.m. Ozzy showed promptly at 3 p.m. and before entering my house he put shoe covers on, which was a big plus to me! I explained the situation, and Ozzy gave me an honest answer that he may not have to crack the wall tiles open. He started off conservatively by removing the shower cartridge behind the shower handle trimming, and there was the problem! He left for about 45 minutes to get that specific part, a new shower head and tub spout. Everything was replaced and fixed and we are satisfied customers! The price I paid was way above the estimate but for punctual, same day, and professional service, I do recommend them.

Update: 3/10/2014

I called Ozzy back to finish the job he started -- installing the Roman Tub Fixture. I paid him to reassemble everything once he got it plumbed -- he informed me that the cold water had low flow (which I didn't remember from before, but hey! I had the water off for a long time so who knows what could happen). I asked him if he had turned the valves back on all the way and he sort of shrugged.

I paid him the 3 or 4 hundred dollars and wished him well.

After a couple months of waiting 20 minutes for the tub to fill, I kept getting images of that shrug in my mind. Finally, tonight, I unscrewed the fixture and played with the valves, and sure enough -- full water pressure. Ozzy had forgotten to release the valve fully.

I'm not one to get all crazy about service and I understand that people make mistakes -- but still. It's disappointing.

What a disappointment! We thought we had hit the jackpot when we discovered this place last year. Had a few fine visits. Then the communication became more and more shoddy. And then we called one day last week for a broken toilet, got put into Javier's voice mail, promising a quick response.

There was no response. Called 2 days later--""We really appreciated your service last year. We have another problem and were surprised to not hear back from you. Can you please help?""

That was 6 days ago--still no response!

We had recommended them to 5 other people; we've called all of them up and told them our advice to ourselves: ""Stay away! Something's gone really bad with this place.""

Had a main line clogged due to roots. Company was available to send someone out for same day service, fixed my problem, and the technician who helped me was great. Prompt w/in our appointment time, knowledgable and didn't rush in fixing my clog. Would def recommend this rooter company. Deducted 1 star because I was given a $150 quote over the phone when scheduling, and the service ended up costing $175 (without any unexpected issues). Still happy a happy customer though.

My main line was clogged due to tree roots.
Called early Saturday morning for a help.
Javier said the technician would be here between 12-2pm.
Javier quoted a reasonable price and it was honored.

Enrique the technician arrived on time and did a great job.
He thoroughly made sure the problem was solved.
He took his time.
His manner was kind and professional.
Also, Enrique took a look at my faucet for a no charge.
He went beyond the call of duty.
Highly recommend them for plumbing.

I've been looking for a dependable, afforable and competent Plumber for 10 years. Where have you been hiding!
Own a buiding with 3 restrooms and tree root issues. Called HN after my so called plumber left with no resolution. Ever was awesome!! Problem fixed with recommendations!

My upstairs shower sprung a leak into my office. It turned out to be a major crack in the drain pipe. Ever from HN Harris came, diagnosed the problem and came the next day. All is fixed and he did a great job replacing the cracked pipe, keeping the are clean and sealing it up with plastic until my painter can come to replace the ceiling dry wall. I plan to use HN Harris for all my plumbing needs from now on not only because of their great service but also because there is a friendly voice, Martha on the phone who is always there when you call.

After moving into our new apt which we bought a new fridge for, we realized that we didn't have a watter hook-up for the ice machine on the fridge. I called Harris Plumbing and they were able to come out the next day. The plumber did such a nice job and concealed the tubes needed to connect the water which I was nervous about. I will be calling them again if needed.
