No wonder Art has so many good reviews. Price is reasonable, he got to our home 15 minutes earlier than he told us, finished the job efficiently, and gave me the earliest appointment anyone offered. But with these positive reviews not sure how long that will continue as he gets more and more booked up. He is now my "for everything" handyman. Thanks Art!

I highly recommend HMS Handyman Services. Art was on time and notified me 30 mins prior to his arrival. Art removed the old outside wall lanterns and installed the new ones beautifully. Due to a faulty switch in my home the new lanterns did not work at first. He went the extra step and replaced the switch. I plan on using HMS for all my future handyman projects.

You get what you pay for. He had the lowest rate so I went with him for what I thought was a simple task. He only had to spend 5 mins changing out my hvac filter in my attic. I hired him to save myself the inconvenience of going in the attic however it turns out he left the old dirty air filter in the attic rather than bringing it down for me to dispose of or for him to dispose of himself. Today I had to climb in my attic to retrieve the nasty air filter he left up there. Disappointing and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

It was a short notice but HMS Handyman came thru for me and installed some ceiling fans for me in my 1st home so thank u HMS for helping me with this project, 2 thumbs up and definitely will be getting u for another job in a week or two.

I was told the total cost would be $175 parts and labor and was charged $200. There's nail holes in that side board was replaced. Another thing is it doesn't sit flush it sits higher than the other side. if you couldn't have done the job right why even do it at all? I'm not happy with the serviced I received. Now we gotta have somebody else come out here and do it right. I would not recommend this company because it will end up costing you double to be fixed and additional charges as you can see from the picture when he removed the texture on the wall the top and bottom were not flush and the cocking on the paint leaves the job unprofessional and now the wall needs to be painted in addition.

I can't recommend this service.

The pros: He's communicative and responsive. Seems like a decent guy.

The cons: I just don't get the sense that he really has much attention to detail or is a real professional.

I had Art come out to hang some house numbers. He did everything by eye and did not use a level. It's only that when I started to pull out my level that he started to use it. He become increasingly frustrated as I pointed out how the numbers were not level (again, based on the level tool..). As a result, he just began making larger and larger holes to accommodate for the misalignment. Now I'm left with huge holes in my brick wall siding.

If you are someone who believes in taking a measured approach, look elsewhere. Again, I feel bad writing this review because I do feel he is a decent guy. However, the quality of the work was just not there.
