Established as Springfield, Ohio's pioneering electric drain cleaning service by Peter Guinan and transferred through four family generations to Mike Hixon in 1980. Mike managed under the brand Mike Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning until his passing in 2006. In the summer of 2013, Mike's son Danny Hixon reopened the family business under Hixon Consultants LLC. Doing Business As, Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning. Previously, Danny held National Manager for top wastewater and natural gas pipeline businesses and continues to operate as a advisor to pipeline integrity, data collection for infrastructure and robotic camera production clients in the United States, our northern neighbor and across Europe.
Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning was revived to reintroduce the high level of client care and integrity that Mike Hixon Sewer and Drain was known for back to the Springfield locality to meet all of your immediate drain cleaning and pipeline video inspection requirements.
I started handling service requests at a very young age with my dad and my great-great-grandfather Pete (the originator of the company in 1941) and observed the devotion and great sense of pride my forebears had in cultivating connections with their patrons above all else. Since that time, I have worked as an apprentice all the way to the head of national operations in the drain cleaning industry, in addition to the management of pipeline integrity companies. I plan to teach the practices and practices employed by these big firms to each technician here at Hixon Sewer and Drain Cleaning while bringing the old world customer service that my great-great-grandfather Pete and my predecessors upheld for more than 70 years.
