Our sink clogged in the evening, so we were unable to use the kitchen sink and some other faucets without causing a back-up with some nasty gunk. We called around, but of course no one picked up after hours, especially right before a holiday weekend. Thankfully, a friend recommended Hirayama Plumbing, and they called us back later that evening. To our great relief, they were able to come out the very next morning! They got right to work and cleared the clog within an hour. Thank you!

It was a dark and stormy night...road closure, land slides, floods. As the blue sky peeked out between the clouds on Wednesday, my brother called me frantically to tell me that my mom's water heater burst...so I entered an estimate war along with people on the windward side of the island and Haleiwa. Prices were high and appointments were not available for the same day. Enter a board of water supply person who mentioned another plumber but they could not accommodate us until Friday. They recommended Hirayama's/. I called and left a message and my phone call was promptly returned (he doesn't answer if your phone number is blocked). He was on a Job a few blocks away but promised to be at my house. 30--45 minutes later and he kept his promise. He checked out the area, went to get a new heater and installed it.The actual working time was approximately 90 minutes to two hours. He is billing us so I don't know the cost but I am sure it is WAY LESS than the $14,000 that the first company estimated for us or the $500 labor charge another company was asking for. I'll update this is my optimism is compromised. This is a nice, local plumber who does good work and has a calming demeanor.

Used them several times. I was very satisfied with their service. Will definitely call them again when the need arises. For people who complain that $100/hr is expensive for a plumber, you need to step back and think things through. These guys are small family-owned business. They have overhead expenses such as gas, repairs for their vehicles, cost of supplies, etc. In addition, they have to purchase their own medical/dental/drug plans. There's no company-matching 401K retirement account; no sick leave, vacation, or holidays with pay. Think about it.

We took the time off to get an estimate from Hirayama Plumbing and needed 1 last estimate. He txt me with it and dropped some other name of plumbers? He said since he's in Pearl City might be easier working with these other guys. A waste of time!

Damn! These guys were faaaaaaast! I called them regarding a leaking shower faucet. Less than an hour later, father/son duo showed up, and assessed the job. They went to work right away, and fixed the leak. What a huge reilief! The water leak was pretty bad, and getting worse, so them being able to come so soon and fix it quickly is greatly appreciated! I will definitely call them again if needed!

Of course your drains get plugged in a weekend and so when you're trying to look for someone it's crazy and everyone can't help you until later that week. Until I called Hirayama plumbing. I called this morning and they said they might be able to stop by after lunch, they called right before 1 pm and by 130 my drains was cleared. Nice local guys and I'll be calling them for future jobs that's for sure. I'd recommend them that's for sure.

Highly recommend Hirayama Plumbing and Repair Service. Called them because we dropped a plastic cover down our tub drain. Very professional, efficient and price was reasonable for the amount of time that they were at our house.

Thank you Kyle & Shane for the awesome service for my leaking shower! They both came out and took care of the leak and accommodated changing the other shower valve in my townhome. They were no nonsense, efficient, answered all my questions and I will have them doing additional plumbing work. Very trustworthy and reliable!!! Call them... you won't be disappointed!
