While taking a shower, I tried to adjust the angle of the shower head and it broke off in my hand. Tyler from Hip Plumbing arrived the next morning and quickly had the broken pipe replaced. Don't hesitate to call Tyler with Hips Plumbing. It took us 7 years, 8 different plumbers, 1 handyman, 2 dishwashers, 4 water heaters and 4 different recirculating pumps before Tyler diagnosed, found and fixed our issue for not having hot water at the kitchen sink and dishwasher. We were extremely skeptical as he will tell you and we honestly didn't believe he could fix the problem. For being so young, his knowledge and understanding of how plumbing is supposed to work and subsequent talent on the actual repairs is unmatched. He took the time to use proper equipment, soldered the pipes instead of taking the cheap and easy way out and left the area looking immaculate. We now have hot water in less than 7 seconds rather than cold water for 2 minutes and then luke warm water after that 2 minutes has passed never actually getting hot. We would highly recommend both Tyler and Hips plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.

This review is overdue. We moved to Vegas not long ago & of course almost immediately had a plumbing issue. Found Hips on Yelp & called them up. They sent out a tech same day, super friendly guy who cleared the block & sent a camera down the line, tree roots everywhere. It had to be addressed! Thought about it & scheduled them to repair next day. They were fast, friendly & showed me everything they did. I really appreciate Hips & will call them again. Thanks guys, your a fantastic team!

Thanks to Yelp reviews, I decided to call Hip today to talk to him about my lack of water pressure. He's a nice guy, and he asked me some questions about the issue I was having. He had Tyler (I think that's his name, I already forgot. Sorry about that!) stop by after he was done with his job in Henderson.

This was a really nice guy who looked at all possible issues (checking outside in the water main, etc) and decided that he was 99.99% sure that a new water regulator would fix our pressure. He said though that if for some strange reason it still isn't working right, he will not leave until he figures it out and we have good pressure. He was surprised that we tolerated the horrible pressure that we had. The price was right to replace it (I had suspected what the problem was based on the symptoms, and I had googled typical pricing). He fixed it quickly and cleaned up nicely, and tested the water everywhere and made sure that no air was left in the pipes.

We had a bunch of questions for him regarding other plumbing stuff, and he answered every one of them with patience and without ever making us feel rushed. He seemed very knowledgeable and he even spotted a tiny, rusty, dried up water stream down the face of our water heater. When he stepped up to take a look, we both saw that the attachments are highly corroded and that water has been puddling up there on top of the tank, then drying out. It was a warning that our water heater will not be lasting much longer. He gave us options with pricing to consider, from replacing it using the warranty on our water heater (it's only 3-4 years old), up to a different model water heater, to a tankless.

He also gave me pricing when I asked about replacing all of our plastic water pipes from the wall to the faucet/toilet with stainless steel. It would include replacing the current push/pull on/off valves to metal stems which turn the water on or off.

Meanwhile we are now up and running with great pressure! HUGE difference, and I am really glad I called these guys. I will definitely call them for my future plumbing needs.
