Hip is awesome and my plumber for life now! My hot water heater started to drip but wasn't blown out yet. I called him on Sunday night Fourth of July weekend. He text me right back and said he'd be out on the morning. He came out and repaired my hot water heater in a few hours, updated the codes, and did an amazing job! Don't hesitate to call him.

I returned from a month-long trip to find my main bathroom toilet had been running for days (apparently flushed by the person who was watering my plants who didn't notice that it didn't stop). My water bill was ridiculous. Then after I was back, the toilet simply quit refilling. Called Hips after seeing the reviews here. We set an appt and the day before he called to tell me he would be able to come a day early. He quickly found the issue with the faulty flush valve and confirmed the shut-off valve in the wall was ""frozen"" (great Las Vegas hard water!!). Both were replaced and everything back in working order in less than an hour. The total bill for parts and labor was less than the last time I had another plumber here to install a shower head I supplied!! I'm definitely keeping Hips' number for any future plumbing issues.

Had an after hours stoppage which caused the showers and toilets to overflow. Yikes! Called a couple of plumbers and got answering services EXCEPT for this one. Not only did they answer but he showed up inless than 30 minutes and had the stoppage cleared from the clean out in about the same amount of time. Amazing!!! Highly recommend.

I woke up to find my water heater (which is inside of my laundry room) had a pretty serious leak coming from underneath the water heater. I found Hips Plumbing online, and gave them a call. they were at my house within 4 hours. unfortunately my water heater was leaking from inside the unit somewhere, and needed to be replaced. i considered a tankless water heater, but was told by them that because i am on a well, it probably wouldn't be the best thing to do. Both HIP and one of his best techs were on site together to get me back up and running.

1 - My first point here is that they easily could have sold me a $3k tankless setup (with labor, etc), but they considered my situation, and what would work best for ME! i ended up replacing my water heater with an identical unit.

2 - the quote i received had a detailed explanation of what was wrong, what had to be done, what was needed for the full replacement, etc. They even re-ran a few pipes for me down to my drain, which included a Water Heater pan with a drain pipe so it would never overflow into my laundry room again.

3 - They also found an issue i had been having with hot water going to the furthest part of my house. It ended up being a valve in between some of the piping. they replaced with one that was spring loaded to prevent the flap from ever becoming stuck in the future and allowing the cold water to mix in with the hot, which was the reason for my colder water to that part of the house.

4 - My biggest thing here is that they were out to my house within 4 hours of my initial call to them. THEY DID THE JOB THAT SAME DAY!!! From the time I realized there was a problem with my water heater, to the time of COMPLETED repair (to include removal of old unit, installation of new unit, new valve, reworking the plumbing to and from the new heater, etc) was 8 hours. 8 HOURS from the time I called them, to having a completely new setup. They were very clean. They left my laundry room in better shape then they found it in, and i will be using them going forward for everything i need. EXTREMELY friendly guys!

I had a late night total blockage in my sewer line. Hip replied to my query of coming out in the morning (which I placed on a message through the Yelp app) at 7am and had Trevor our to rooter my lines by 10am. I also had posted my needs on Home Advisor and while several businesses responded it took them a bit longer. I'm pleased and will keep this number handy for the future.

Hip is awesome and it's small, family businesses like this that I love to support. He's my plumber for life now. The heating element went out of my hot water heater so call Hip on the Sunday of 4th of July weekend. He answered and scheduled me for the next day. I looked at my hot water heater closer and concluded that it would make more sense just replace it. It was damp and pretty rusting. So, I already knew he'd probably suggest the same thing by the time he came out. What shocked me though is the extremely reasonable price. Two of my neighbors had replaced theirs in the last year and they didn't get the excellent price or work that I did. Hip was very fast, did outstanding work, and has very reasonable prices. I've tried 4-5 plumbers since moving here in 2005 and glad I finally found Hip.

Hips Plumming Rocks!!! We had a problem with the low water pressure around the house and leaking water meter valve after our new fridge and dishwasher were installed. Called one of the Plummer's in town and able to change the leaking meter valve and suggested probably the low water pressure is from the pipes of the old water softener that we haven't used for years, so we bought a new one and have another company installed it but was not able to solve the problem! So worried tried to go to Yelp for help and called Hips Plumming since the ratings are quite very impressive!!! Hips came in the afternoon, checked it for free and within a few minutes able to solve the problem that we have had for almost a week!!! Thank you Hips for your help!!! Now the water pressure is back and my family is very happy and thankful of this amazing, knowledgeable and kind man! I will definitely use his company again! Kudos to you Hips!

Hip was so awesome in taking care of an issue that we had with a busted hot water valve. He was responsive, arrived on time, and performed the repair in a reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend him for any type of plumbing needs.

It was an emergency and I needed a plumber-had to turn off the water to the house to stop the leak!! I checked Yelp and called three different plumbers. I called HIP and sent him photos of the damaged pipe. He gave me the lowest quote over the phone in comparison to the other two companies. HIP showed up in about an hour and fixed the copper and plastic pipes and fittings in about another hour. Professional, quick, and confident. He was also able to answer other plumbing related questions that I had as it was a new house. He also gave decent quotes on other plumbing projects I have lined up in the future!! I will definitely use HIP again and highly recommend his service. Thank you HIP!
