Victor did it again! We had an emergency after a big rain and he came out quickly after hours to help us out. He is trustworthy, honest and knowledgeable. He made a great referral to help when it turned out not to be a plumbing issue.

Victor was great. Our entire house sewer was backed up and it was late on a Sunday night and he picked up and arrived In minutes. Victor was honest, great prices and had top of the line equipment. We called Hinsdale Plumbing on a Sunday owner Victor picked up right away. We had a issue with our kitchen sink backing up and water coming out of of washer on the floor. He said he would be able to help in about an hour. He sent his son Matt over to fix our problem. He was in and out within a 1/2 hour. Problem fixed!!! Wow!!! Now that is service you can count on. We will call them in the future, best I have seen in a very long time.

Victor is the man! I had a hot water heater fail and I messed with it for 2 days before throwing in the towel and calling an expert (I'm a tinkerer enjoy trying to fix stuff). Victor arrived the same day and took logical steps to isolate and diagnose the problem. He's very good at what he does. I feel like many other hot water repair guys would have knocked around a bit and tried to sell me a new hot water heater. Victor truly wanted to avoid doing that. He figured out that the thermostat control module that I had already replaced on my own was a DOA part. He put in a new one and I was good to go. He saved me a ton of money, and I am greatly appreciative.

Victor came to out Home in the middle of the night. 1:00am. I mean who does that and still carries the most positive attitude possible. In a word.....amazing. He was a true professional and did one amazing job fixing all of our issues. Called them on a Sunday - off a Google search and connected with Victor. Unlike the others, no ""evaluation"" or ""show-up"" fee. Brandon, from their team, came by within the hour evaluated the problem and remedied a problematic sump pump. Seasoned professionals, great service, will use again and recommend to others.

If you need a plumber call them. Victor and his son Matt are the real deal. The original job was easy but turned into something more complicated. Needless to say they handled the job with expertise and took care of everything. If I ever have a plumbing issue I know who to call.

Part 1)
Brandon came with a co-worker (sorry, I did not get his name) to install the new Water Heater. They had to use serious know how to drain the defunct 50 gallon capacity tank and get the new one in place. We needed a mega-long hose to route to the laundry room which was the nearest viable drain. And how to get that ""beast"" aka 75 Gallon capacity water heater, up and down 100+ year old stair cases? From the side door up some steps, and more perilously, down a very narrow and close, plaster sculpted, basement staircase. Measurements were taken and evaluated. Brandon took off the door to the basement. Ahead of the task, it was recommended I remove several ornaments and wall art to avoid damage. So thoughtful. This event spurred me to remove a radiator cover to allow a couple more open inches. In doing so, I discovered ancient dust and hidden mystery wire"" from a non-operational doorbell wire for which I had been searching for 7 years! *Maybe warranting a future Yelp* post about a doorbell restorer? *
Part 2)
Eureka! (pardon the water displacement reference) We have sanity. We have an energy efficient and volume appropriate capacity water heater for our home. The older one was too small for the house and by that inadequacy put a strain on many systems and cost us more on energy.

Victor also gave me a reference for a carpet/flooding person who is helping with the damp carpet. There was no true flooding, thankfully. As of today, he is scheduled to come tomorrow afternoon and address the situation, but over the phone today, he recommended that I rent a flood fan from Buttrey, so I could being the dying out.
