My review is a little late but I'm doing it now. Gary came out to my house on 9/23/16. I had to go to work but my adult son said he would be here for the plumber. I don't know what was stuck in the toilet but I needed it snaked. Gary fixed my plumbing issue in a timely manner. He was reasonably priced. And according to my son he was awesome. Very professional and cool. My son has been adamant about me writing this review because he said Gary deserves 5 stars and a good review on yelp. Thank you Gary. All my plumbing is good now but when something happens I know who I'm going to call. And the magnet he gave us has a permanent home on my fridge. Also now my son can stop hounding me to write a review. But obviously my son was very impressed by Gary's service.

I called on Sunday evening and Gary came out first thing Monday morning. He was professional and knowledgeable and fixed our water heater right up. I would definitely recommend his service.

Extremely good! Called for a quote to fix a leaky kitchen sink. He responded quickly and gave me a quote after I sent him some pictures of the pipes. He arrived on time the next day completed the job no problem. I'm very happy with the service, will definitely be contacting him again if the need arises. Gary showed up at my apartment and left without telling my tenant what the problem was. He never emailed or called me with an update. A week later my tenants ceiling crashed down from leak above. He said he was too busy as he had too many jobs to fix the problem.

Never use or call again.

I'm so happy that I called Hiniker plumbing for my plumbing repair. A pipe started spraying water and I had to shut the water off to the entire house until it was fixed. Gary Hiniker came to the house within 2 hours of my call and did a perfect repair. He is professional, courteous, on time and very efficient. I will definitely use him again for all my plumbing needs!

For the past 2 weeks or so my family and I haven't been able to use our toilets or our showers because of some type of blockage in our plumbing. I had already emptied out the septic tank and both bathrooms were still backing up. My wife did some quick research and called Hiniker Plumbing. It was great service from the knock on the door. Gary started from the septic tank and worked his way up and finally had to go in from another angle because he knew there was a plug and he determined to take care of it. He was able to get through the plug and within a little over an hour he was done. We can finally shower and use our toilets. This is a really good company, I had 2 other plumbers come in and they couldn't figure it out. Definitely calling again if I have any other issues.

TLDR; We've never been more happy to hand over a few hundred dollars to a complete stranger! Gary is a rarity in the contractor world -- personable, honest, friendly, non-condescending, polite, enthusiastic, and efficient. Definitely keep his magnet on your fridge!

Our work order consisted of 1) clearing the clog in the main sewer line with no accessible clean-out valve, and 2) scope and find where our clean-out valve is.

After doing our due diligence of calling around for quotes, we selected Hiniker Plumbing not only because the quote was competitive, but also because Gary was forthright and non-condescending over the phone. Apparently, we contacted him after hours because he straight up told us we can save money if the problem was a non-emergency and arranged for him to come over at 7:30 in the morning.

Gary arrived at 7:15AM. After determining he will not be able to snake through the vent on the roof, he proceeded to carefully remove a toilet and run the snake through there. Imagine our bemusement when he told us, ""Listen... (our untrained ears heard nothing) it's cleared!"". He then proceed to snake his camera to verify the existence of the clean-out valve and helped us locate it. He replaced the toilet with new wax rings, and even re-caulked the seams before he hurried off to his next job of what was to be a packed day.

Great service! Returned my message within minutes and were at my house the following morning since it was a somewhat urgent repair. Very thorough and explains everything so you understand what the problem is and how it was repaired. Not only did they fix the problem that I contacted them about, but Gary diagnosed and corrected what the cause was for many of the plumbing issues we were having. Will definitely be using them again in the future and would recommend to anyone.
