Our septic pump went out and the sinks in the house filled with sewage. Tyler communicated what to do over the phone to get the water down in the meantime before he got there. He replaced the pump in about 15 minutes with no hassle and he set it up correctly. The alarm wasn't going off because it wasn't set up right. It was an emergency charge but he saved us money in the long run. I called another company and they said the tank had to be pumped before they could even look at it!! Awesome customer service!

Over charged for a minor out of town repair. Charged time to get there + mileage and an out of town fee. Completely understand an extra fee for and out of town charge even though it was only 12 miles but all three was ridiculous and doubtful I will return for anything,

I have used Hill's for several years, both at my residence and business. Have always been well pleased with their service. Lyle has been very quick to get us on the schedule for plumbing service calls. We have been Bemidji residents and business owners for over 40 years, have used several different heating/plumbing companys and have been the most satisfied with Hills. Hill's plumber is really crabby, didn't communicate with us when another contractor messed up. Now we have plumbing where it isn't suppose to be and no one told us why. He had the opportunity to do it right before they laid the cement, but didn't. We tried to talk to him as we are completing the home ourselves and need to know what pipes were for what, but due to his chip on his shoulder, we couldn't get any assistance. The other guy's in the office seem afraid of him.
The septic guys were nice and did a good job making the mound look nice, but buried the trees with soil. This was discussed before hand whether or not we needed to take the trees out, which we were willing to do.They said we didn't need to, but now the trees are going to die since they buried them. Removing them when they die in a couple years will be a BIG problem as they are so close to the house.
I wish we had seen these reviews earlier!

We had bad experience with Hills overcharging the hours and doing shoddy work. The tech moved like molasses and seemed duller. Hills defended him as the best tech they have. So?

My Brother Called Hills on Jan. 6th 2018. The guy was here maybe 1hr. The guy left without leaving a bill!! My Brother was Charged for 2hrs. The Problem still is Not Fixed! Would Not Recommend them to my Friends!!!

tried to get them to install my little pot belly stove since september, they said they were booked up for a while thought ok.. well in december called and they were still booked up, finally in january called and I think they misplaced my order, said they would be out to put it in, told them on the week that they were going to do it that I would have any day but a wednesday I had a drs appt. and they called the next day and told me they could do it wednesday, well thursday I called and they said that they could have done it wednesday but we did not want it done that day. friday, saturday and finally monday my husband went to the office and they said that they could do it thursday.. forget it we cancelled and decided to go with someone else.. now we got the heater in two days...
