These guys are great. They were recommended by a good friend so I was expecting good; however, they were ""great"" like I mentioned. Sam and Bobby came out and did an inspection of the plumbing of our new house. They were on time and very polite. I'm now getting a quote for a new tankless water heater from Tim, the owner, since I really trust Hillis Plumbing.
This is a true evaluation and I highly recommend this company.

Note: As for the one star below .... that has nothing to do with the reputation of this company. My feeling is you never know if it's from a competitor who just wants to bring the ratings down here. I suspect this unfortunately does happen on Yelp.

I had a plumbing emergency at home that could not wait. I called Tim at 5pm and he was over within an hour to evaluate the situation. The following day he came over and suctioned out the stagnant rain water that had accumulated in my air vent underneath the house. The smell finally went away. Tim is incredibly honest and prompt. Tim from Hillis Plumbing removed my old water heater and installed a tankless for me. Not only was the work excellent but Tim was very helpful in recommending the proper equipment for me. Tim was prompt, clean and will be my plumber for life. Since then he has handled blockages, disposals, faucets and every job has been done with the same level of care. Did I mention his honesty? He never up-sells. I can't recommend this guy enough. My entire family uses him now.

I had a plumbing emergency at my home. Not having a go-to outfit I called Gary Somerville at Allied Coastal Building, a tried and true tradesman, who referred me to Tim Hillis. Within a couple of hours Hillis Plumbing dispatched Sam, who quickly located and expertly repaired a pinhole leak behind the ceiling drywall on my second floor. My wife was astonished when she was given the invoice, which was FAR LESS than anticipated, and paid over invoice because of the quick and expert repair and the thorough cleanup by Sam.

This company is a local jewel. I give it a top endorsement and will trust it with all of my future plumbing needs.
