The plumber who showed up was named John. I had a very tight window of time to be home and he said ""I can make that work"" He not only showed up on time but did the work in less than an hour. Cleaned everything up and went on his way. Super professional and kind.

The guys at Hillis are great. We typically rely on them for our apartment which our property management company/landlord uses but I needed them for a property that my dad owns. They are always quick to respond and their pricing is fair and reasonable. Would recommend Hillis for any plumbing needs.

We had this guy snake out our drain after spending thousands on redoing the plumbing for our remodel. He said if it backed up again he would resnake it under warranty, which makes sense given how much business we have given him. Then less than a month later, it backed up again (not his fault) but instead of cleaning it out again under warranty he decided to breach the verbal contract, and verbally assaulted me via text. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a drinking or drug problem, seems very probable given the evidence. Avoid him at all costs. He charges premium prices for budget quality. I have attached screenshots of his unprofessional and inappropriate texts. He has already expressed regret and remorse for his actions, but I had to warn everyone. I heard there are lots of legal cases against him too. I would encourage everyone to find someone cheaper and better. Professionalism is important.

I've been using Hillis for 10 years now. Tim always remembers me but most importantly he quotes a fair price, for good work, with professionalism to back it up. They are also honest about ETAs. If they can be there quick and you give the go ahead they come quick. If they need a little extra time they tell you. Use these guys!

We had two broken pipes underground between the water heater and the house. Tim came to do the inspection and was able to determine that in about 20-30 minutes of troubleshooting. He gave me a fair price estimate of what the work would cost and came to complete the job quickly and within two days and the final price was the original estimate. I will definitely call again if I am in need of a plumber again. Thank you Hillis Plumbing.

We needed to update the filtration system for our tankless hot water system. Tim replaced some piping so the new filter would fit. It was not easy - when the house was built the pipes had been installed into a small cut-out section in the garage wall. Tim struggled in the tight space, did a great job, and smiled the whole time. And he charged a lot less than one of those companies with lots vans and neat uniforms. Highly recommended.

My water heater sprung a leak and via a friend's recommendation I reached out to Tim on Saturday morning. He was at my house within an hour helping me clean up the mess, explaining to me exactly what happened, and advising me on what to do next. He was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, empathetic and professional. I reached out to him a few times over the next few days asking questions about a tankless versus a traditional tank water heater. He helped me make my decision and a few days later installed a top-of-the-line tankless water heater. Tim is great and I highly recommend him!

Run, run, run...and run fast! Do not pass go! Like an idiot, I paid Tim Hillis before the work was done and then he quit after 3 weeks telling me that he 'busted his butt' trying to fix it and just couldn't. I asked for my money back since he didn't complete the work and he refused. He then told me to 'stop harassing' him or he would contact the police department. Tim Hillis caused so much damage that I had to hire another plumber to not only fix the work he didn't complete but to also fix the damage he caused. I have filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board. Like, V F, the behavior was so incredibly unprofessional, not only by taking my money without completing the work but a lot of cussing along the way. He seemed to be incredibly frustrated about not being able to fix the issue that he started -- taking it out on me, yelling that this was the worse plumbing problem he had ever seen and was over it, that he doesn't need the money because he makes over $300K a year, and doesn't need headaches like this! Listen, if you don't want the job and you're not capable of fixing it, do yourself and your customers a favor and don't take it!

Had a small job today, but Hillis delivered. Two extemely nice guys arrived. Did the job. Totally cleaned up afterwards. I would strongly recommend them.
