Started in 1990 from a duplex in Antioch, TN with just $500 and one employee - 24-year-old Jimmy Hiller, developed his company on principles that were unique in Middle Tennessee and are now hallmarks of the Hiller brand: insisting technicians to wear shoe covers, ensuring clean workspaces, offering transparent and flat-rate pricing, and providing 24/7 repair services.

Recently recognized the fifth fastest-growing private company in Middle Tennessee, Hiller runs a fleet of 420 ""happy face"" trucks and employs over 600 staff members.
Jimmy Hiller has built an exceptionally successful, multi-state enterprise based on a straightforward yet impactful principle, ""Care is Our Core Value."" When he initiated Hiller Plumbing in 1990, he formulated a business model centered on three key components: a high level of professional expertise, a positive demeanor, and the integrity to complete the job correctly.

Since the company's inception, Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical has conducted over a million service calls and continues to expand at a double-digit rate, through the growth of its service offerings and strategic acquisitions.

Lately recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as one of the ""Top CEOs (and their companies)"", Jimmy remains actively engaged in the daily operations of Hiller and has shifted his focus to nurturing a new generation of professionals whose dedication to the customer experience is fueled by the core values on which his business was originally established.

My HVAC stopped working while I was on vacation. Hiller came out and recommended that I replace my entire unit, which they have been recommending for the past 3 years. I decided to get a second opinion by a well trusted company in my area. They found that the issue was a simple one and that the only needed fix was to replace the door & disconnect switches, which cost me around $200. I do not appreciate Hiller giving false recommendations. Given the opportunity, I will tell everyone I know to stay away from Hiller.

Thanks.

Will NEVER use this company again. I had not had my AC serviced in awhile so I decided to use the free checkup they offer. So they scheduled me on a Saturday. Keep in mind nothing is wrong with my unit just want a check up. Well the guy came out, checked the unit cleaned the coils outside (part of the free checkup at no cost) and said I was low on freon, and a capacitor was weak and could fail at anytime. So to make a long story short the freon and the capacitor came to a total of $311.00, looking back I should have questioned the cost however I know very little about AC parts. After the guy left I kept thinking that sounded awful high so I looked the part up online and could have bought the capacitor for $7.00. So for 7 bucks and a little freon for $311.00. I called the customer service about this and they said the price was so high because they had the part on the truck readily available and this was on a weekend so service is higher. The whole time this was suppose to be just a free checkup that they scheduled not me. I will NOT use Hiller ever again and will discourage anyone from doing so, every time I see this smiley face truck in my neighborhood i cringe because I know they are probably ripping someone else off. A word of advice before any work is performed if you have cell phone or internet handy look the part up and see what the price actually is not the price they say it is worth just for having it on the truck, for crying out loud you are an AC repair company, you are suppose to have parts needed for service I would also suggest keeping any part they replace and take that part to someone else to test, just to keep them honest. I really believe if this company comes to your house they will find something wrong to justify the trip out.

Piss Poor service. Spent the money to join the Hiller Club for a repeat problem with the HVAC Unit they installed a year ago and serviced 2 weeks ago. It took 4 days to get them to come fix our unit, without the Hiller Club. Same problem for the 3rd time exactly 2 weeks later. This unit cools our upstairs.

My time was not respected 2 weeks ago. Showed up an hour early bc it was convenient to their schedule; not mine.

I live chatted Customer Service to get a prompt that all their customer service reps were busy. So I called the number provided. This was an answering service across the country. Their words ; not mine.

I regret joining the Hiller Club and do NOT recommend Hiller to anyone! Over priced, extremely poor service and work!!

I called this company because I on occasion would continue to smell the odor of sewer in my home. They sent a representative out to my home who crawled under my house to explore what could be causing the smell. She came back out 5 minutes later and said she didn't find anything. She gave me bottle of drano cleaner and charged me a ridiculous service charge and said to call back if the problem continues then they would have to do some kind of experiment which would cost hundreds of dollars to find out what the problem is. After a couple of months of using the product and it not working, I decided to call another plumbing company for a second review. They were able to find the problem immediately and fixed the issue for a reasonable price. I will never call this company again and I do not recommend them.

I made an appointment on 4/30/19 for a possible leak. I was told by a Hiller plumber that the issue was not with the toilets but rather with the main line. I was told it would need to be fixed to keep the leak from getting larger. I was then offered a free estimate by Bridgette who quoted me approx $3000 to replace the pipes. I then called American Leak Detection who told me the issue was not with the main water line but rather the toilets. I was charged $300 for a job Hiller should have done to begin with. To think I would have spent $3000 unnecessarily (and on a teacher's salary) makes me very disappointed with your company. I would never recommend you guys.

I had some electrical work done. Installation of 2 ceiling fans and 2 light fixtures. Hiller is massively overpriced. My total bill was $694 for 3 hours of work. That's $231/hour for electrical work. A union guy makes $70/hour at best.

This is my own fault. I was busy with work when the quote was presented...I signed it and didn't think twice. I should have been more observant but was preoccupied. I called to complain after the fact....they had the young guy who did the installation call me back. I know he doesn't set the prices..it's not his issue. I was told that a manager would call, but never heard from him. I told the young guy to go start his own electrical business, charge half of what Hiller charges, and that he'd make a killing.

The work was very good. But still, they'll never get a call from me again for anything.

I would like to, once again, sing the praises of the Hiller Co.! I am a Happy Hiller Club Member, which definitely has its advantages!
So, onto the praises! Pls bear with me!
A leak was discovered 3 yrs ago in my master bathroom. The source of the leak was the faucet area. Unfortunately, the plumbing behind the faucet was not easily accessible - the side of my house was located on the other side! ?
At the time, I was not keen on any contractors and I wasn't aware that Hiller could do this work.
So, I had the water turned off to the master bathtub for 3 yrs. (I have a guest bathroom I was using).
I recently found out Hiller could help me. Project Manager, Billy Ezell, said that Hiller could take out the old tub, put the plumbing inside the house AND put in a new tub!!! I was extremely elated and relieved!
Jonathon Carlisle, aka J.J., was assigned to the task. What a blessing he is!!!
J.J. is very professional, courteous and didn't give up when he ran into a couple of challenges during this job!
He kept me informed as he did the work and apologized if he felt he was taking too long to finish this project!
I reminded him that I waited 3 yrs. to get this project complete because of prior crappy experiences with a few contractors. At this point, a few days to complete the work and do it right we're valuable to me!
I am so VERY GRATEFUL that I can turn to Hiller for my a/c, heating, plumbing and electrical!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! And, I am not being reimbursed or forced to write this! It's the truth!
Thank you!

I called Hiller for an estimate on T'ing into my sewer line so I could hook up my camper when parked in the driveway. They wanted $1,559 for the whole job and for me to dig the 20 ft long trench $800. He dropped the price to $600 after I told him, no thanks. After I told him I wasn't going to use him he wanted $69 for the estimate. I told him that it was not stated in the phone conversation to set up the appointment, nor is it anywhere on their website about a fee for an estimate and I was not paying him anything. He spent maybe 10 minutes at our home and another 20 minutes sitting in his van on the road. I'm not sure if this is common practice or not for plumbers to charge for an estimate.

The plumbing team from Hiller was outstanding!
The guys worked all day into the evening to make sure everything was just right! They were so polite, friendly and they both worked really hard....the whole time!
The best experience we have ever had with a maintenance crew!
