It's great having my HVAC checked out before any new season. The guy that came to do our service was professional. He explained and answered all questions.

My inside unit kept freezing over, call hiller out to find out what's wrong, they tell me they blower needs to be replaced, get it fixed $900, it keeps freezing over, call them back out, twice now, with no answers as to why it's freezing over the tech tells me it's a old system. And that's it, no answer or remedy. I'm so disappointed and out money, I could of bought window units with that money and at least been cool throughout the rest of summer.
Been a customer for 10 years pay $16 a month for the club going to charge $348 to change thermostat. Not happy with Hiller!!
I called Hiller last summer when my AC unit stopped working properly. They told me it would cost hundreds to fill my unit up with freon because it had a leak, and there was no guarantee how long it would last. They told me my best bet was to buy a whole new unit, costing over $7,000. Thankfully, I was denied financing , so I was unable to make the purchase. They still charged me the fee to come out to my house, although they didn't do anything. I ended up calling my grandmother to tell her about my situation, and she recommended her hvac guy to me. The guy came and put some freon in, as it was low, and didn't even charge me for it. My AC unit has been working fine ever since! I feel like I was taken advantage of because I'm a woman and didn't know any better. I would never use Hiller again or recommend them to anyone!
Will F.Just writing this review down made me realize... did that really happen? It did.
Said a certain price for the estimate and that the estimate cost would go into the work ""if it's done that day. And we come prepared to do the job with all necessary equipment.""
Well, they didn't have the needed parts and so my estimate now wasn't going towards the repair - even though it was their fault they couldn't do the work that day. And it jumped in price because reasons.
I opted to purchase the parts myself directly to save a large charge for them getting the parts. The parts they said they'd have.
They didn't show up at the scheduled time to repair the appliance. I had to ask several times where they were and finally they simply said they'd be there the next week. No apology or explanation.
Finally they arrive and begin the repair. They leave. Part of the problem is fixed but the main reason for calling was water leaking everywhere - was not fixed.
So they come back the next day which was nice and speedy. They look at it and declare it wasn't their fix that's leaking. ""You can get some silicone to seal this part.""
So let me get this straight - I ask the plumbers to come out and find out why the huge water leak. Pay them to find out why. Order parts so I don't have to pay them for ordering the parts themselves (and them overcharging me for those parts), they arrive. ""Fix"" what I paid them to fix. It's not fixed - water everywhere still. They come back and simply declare it's not the thing they fixed that's the problem, here's some advice on how you might be able to fix it yourself and have a nice day.
Which, by the way, it was their part that caused the new leak. They fixed the old leak but botched the install and created a new leak. Then told me to fix it...
It boggles the mind.
I have trusted Hiller with my home in Murfreesboro for 14 years and now my Bowling Green home for 2 years. I purchase the Hiller club membership for both homes every year. It's well worth it. Hiller is the most professional company of its type around. The professionals are reliable, friendly and efficient. They don't make mistakes. The dispatchers have the best personalities. They make sure their customers are happy.
Patricia T.Never ever use Hiller BG. Paid almost $8,000 for new air conditioner unit. Hasn't worked properly since Hiller installed it! Now they want another $500 to install vents in the bedroom doors! Never needed vents with our older unit!!!!
