I have a home warranty and my air conditioning went out aug. 3 I called the warranty company. I received an email the 4th said hill top would be out on 11th I thought that was to much waiting for service so I called hill top and was told that was there first appointment and said if I wasn't happy to call the warranty co. they said I could cancel the appointment no help there. so on the 11th hill top was at the house at about half past 8. he checked the problem and said it needed a blower . was a the house about 20 minutes I ask him to let me know what is going on. hill top called on that evening and said the part would be in on Wednesday and would be at the house on Friday to install then I got a call on Thursday it would be Monday the 18th. I voiced my displeasure and said I would have to wait . I called hill top on Friday the 15 to see if they were coming on the 18th and voiced my displeasure and he said if I did not like the way he run his business to get someone else and hung up. On Sunday the 17 I get an email from the warrany company that the appointment had been cancelled. I am 81 years old with copd and need air in the house so for two weeks I wait. so breathing bad air for that length of time I have come down with bronchitis and needed meds from my doctor. This was the worst experience I have ever had and hill top needs there license revoked. It is a very poorly run company and I would not recommend for anything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had service and a new compressor put in... supposedly put in Freon. Mind you done by unlicensed EPA techs as I see it.... Didn't know what they were doing. So after they were done, I was told I owed $400. For Freon and $200. a pigtail. I asked if the pigtail was installed and he said no. Then he Steve the owner said I told you what the price was, $688.00. ??? No he didn't! He said $400. Freon and $200 for pigtail. He did not install the pigtail so -$200. And they said they put Freon in but the air conditioner never would come up off of 78°. We had to call out another technician who analyzed our issues and fixed our problems! Hilltop never did. I believe him to be dishonest and a Gouger on prices with uncertified people working with him. He cannot keep employees, as he told me they all quit and one was with him only 1 year!
I do not recommend nor do I think his competency to be in his business is really there! Horrible horrible experience, Dishonesty and Never fixed our problem! Thumbs down!!!

Hill Top replaced my AC inside and out. Then directly after the line was freezing up. They came back out and was not pleasant with my girlfriend saying the freon was low. It was a bran new system THEY installed a few days before. Fast forward to today and I go to change the furnace filter. They not only didn't replace the filter after thier work. They had done poor work when installing the A coil you couldn't get a filter in the slot.

Crappy work. Poor attitude of owner. Refuses to do the work to make things right.
