My family needed an install and right when I called I felt welcome and like my problems would be solved. I called Thursday afternoon almost at closing time and they were able to get me in and serviced the next day on Friday! The tech was very professional, friendly, and respectful! Service was quick and great! Will be going to Hill & Hill for all of my plumbing needs and recommend to all!

I had a service call in July 2019 for a shower handle that was very hard to turn on and off. The service man replaced the cartridge and said that should solve the problem. It did solve that problem but about 2 months later we developed a leak in the shower head caused by the cartridge. I called and was told the warranty was only 30 days and it would be $140.00 service call for someone to come and check it out. I would think a return call for a problem that was worked on only 2 months ago should not cost another service call. The first call was $177.00 and obviously was not done correctly. The serviceman was very nice but the problem is not solved and when I called the office they were no help only to tell me $140.00 for someone to come and check it out.

This company, at least the employee with whom I've had repeated dealings, epitomizes SERVICE, as it used to be. I had Joe out twice for a stubbornly clogged toilet and shower drain in my 60 year old house. He arrived exactly on time, uniformed and ready to go. He took great pains to keep his worksite tidy, ensuring all my belongings were safely tucked away, and he WORKED. I mean he persisted, sticking with a difficult problem, communicating clearly what was wrong, what he was doing to correct it, and the means by which I could prevent it from happening in the future. On top of his excellent service, he's just one of the nicest people I've met since moving here to Venice. Polite and kind and funny. He made having a tedious problem not-quite-so-bad. Call H and H if you have a plumbing issue and need a prompt and thorough solution at a good price. Thank you Joe!

They would not even give me an estimate to replace a 1/2 hp disposal over th phone. They want to come out and charge me $74 to give me a price. It's an easy job so that is not good business. No thank you!

Had slow water leak on my Hot Water Tank . Luckily for me spotted it when I returned from vacation. Hill &Hill responsive and women who scheduled me was informative. Nick was prompt , answered all my questions, gave estimate in detail and installed with cleaned up --very satisfied! Did not get multiple quotes but price was aligned to what others said they experienced- so pleased with both service, cost and the availability of and extended warranty! Would recommend!

We called Hill and Hill to replace our kitchen faucet and two supply valves. We were supplying the faucet and valves for the install and they said that was fine. I asked for a approximate price and the dispatcher said the plumber would come out and give the estimate on site and if I accepted it they would do the job right then and if I didn't like the estimate then I would be charged a $72 service fee for coming out. The plumber called me at 2:18pm on Friday and said he would be there in 15 minutes. He arrived on time and quoted me a price of $370. I thought it was a little high but I accepted it because I thought it might be for 2 hours. Andrew the plumber was very good and by 3:25 he was done and emailing me the bill. Today I talked to his boss Mike and asked him the hourly rate and he told me $180 per hour. I asked him how they could charge me $370 for one hour. He said he was sorry but that was the rate. My lawyer charges $250 an hour so I am having a hard time paying $370 for one hour of plumbing time. When Andrew came in I had everything removed from under the sink, took the cabinet doors off for him and had a tarp to cover the floor too. I am a retired electrician and try to make it easier for anyone that comes and works at our house. Andrew was very good, not blaming him. Just don't like being taken advantaged of. That's all.

We've called on Hill and Hill whenever we have had plumbing needs and have always been impressed with their responsiveness and work. Recently we had them design and implement a major bathroom upgrade. We were blown away by how well then ran the project - from initial design through final installation. We were impressed with the respect they showed for our home, their communication with us at every step of the way, the quality of the products they supplied and their overall professionalism.

Service was good. Someone came out the next day. Work was done well and professionally. My issue was sales pressure and cost. I have a rental condo with a toilet that kept running (bad valve, etc.) and a 25 year-old water heater. The technician wanted to sell me a NEW toilet. I opted for a rebuild. And I was not at all surprised about the recommendation to replace the water heater, but I was shocked by the price. I had a water heater replaced at my house 2 years ago. It was a 50 gallon tank, and the cost was $900. The cost for this baby (only 40 gallons) was $1450. You do the math. It was interesting that when i called the office to inquire if there had been a mistake, they said that the tech would have to handle it, AND that he would call me. This was hours ago. It's 5pm, and I still haven't heard.... Maybe the techs set the prices???

OUTSTANDING! Call this company with confidence! The guys that came out for the assessment, and then to work on our plumbing issue were nice, professional, and honest. Kyle came out both times and he is just 'Mr. Wonderful'. They slipped on booties over their shoes to protect our white carpeting. Everything was explained to us from what our exact plumbing issues were, to what needed to be done to fix it, options were given if they existed, before and after pictures were taken and shown to us. Old parts taken out were shown to us as well, along with explanations of what was wrong, replaced, and how they differed and why it would be better. The price charged was fair and reasonable. THIS is the company we will call when we need work done on our home in the future and recommend to friends. Thanks, Kyle Max Rd. Venice Ranch
