Sometimes we come across great people and companies and I am so glad I found this company on the web to help me with an emergency. In January it was really cold, somewhere in the low 20's or less, one of my pipes froze and leaked. As I called a few companies, one even told me that if I was not a customer already, they would not do the job for me.

Luckily, this company with such a horrible cold weather came in and did the job, as soon as possible and became my heroes for January. The job was done fast and the price for the repair was excellent. I am so happy, if only all companies worked this way. I will always use them for any plumbing need again. Best of the Best.

Hiles Brothers is the most courteous, helpful, and honorable company I've dealt with in a long time, possibly ever. My daughter and I are on our own now, and thank God for that, but in our run to safety we are having major financial difficulties. When our pipe burst during the insane cold snap in February 2016, our landlord and a local Lansford plumbing and heating guy worked together to charge us for repairs to the entire 70 year old heating system, $1500! I called Hiles for an estimate and their love for people showed on the phone. After scheduling an estimate they called back and told me that we might qualify for help from LiHEAP. They sent an amazingly decent man out to our house within an hour or two of our call to LiHEAP, and he immediately fixed a leaky pipe. He returned the next morning to work on the heating system, and was friendly, clean, decent and honorable. He did great work, too, and was astonished at the $1500 estimate from the other guy, which tells me their work would have been far cheaper, though the numbers weren't discussed with me. The county just returned to test the heating system and declared his work to be great, and all is well and good. The woman from the Action Committee assured us we did not cause the break, as the repair guy from Lansford claimed. This woman has 30 years service and told us that they at the Action Committee love Hiles Brothers, that they are a fantastic company. I agree wholeheartedly. I hope you at Hiles read this and know just how grateful we are, not just for the work done, or the referral to LiHEAP, but for the gentleman you sent who did his work happily, courteously, and well. I'm sorry I did not get his name, but please thank him for us, and thank you, too, for running your business the way you do, with honor and love for people.

I had to switch to them for emergency oil fill and service. They were friendly and accommodating in my time frame needs. Very happy.

We have just hit the one year mark that we are customers. Our previous oil man almost left us run out of oil. I called Hiles Bros. and explained our dilema. Fortunately, they had a truck making deliveries in our town and one was here within a half hour. The next day, Lisa made arrangements for our oil burner to be cleaned as our previous oil man kept putting it off and the burner hadn't been cleaned in over 2 years. Whatever the problem, they have come and fixed it. Dave and Lisa have gone out of their way to help us out, whenever we have had a problem with heating or plumbing. Several months ago, we had a real mess on our hands with the installation of an additional washer and dryer. The so called contractor who installed the plumbing put in a part upside down and didn't properly attach pipes. Once again, Hiles Bros. came to our rescue and fixed the problem. We agree that Joe is #1 but so is Dave and Lisa ! We have never found them to be overpriced or unfair about anything. They were just here, yesterday, to fix a bathtub problem. Now works better than it did in years ! We are grateful to Hiles Bros. We are so glad we have them. As a retired couple, we are grateful for the peace of mind we have thanks to being customers of Hiles Bros. They don't come any better !

I do not normally edit or remove my reviews. I'm making an exception this time due to the business attending to the problem.

After a long period of dealing with a faulty pump and failing to repair it, they decided that they could not fix the problem and refunded the money of the pump which I might add is still under warranty.

There is only one good and reliable plumber left on staff, his attention to detail and track record are impeccable. His name is Joe, and I'd recommend that you request him to be the one to come out - Its worth it to even pay more for it. If he started his own business tomorrow, I'd be surprised if it had less than 5 stars. If he has to bring assistants, I'd recommend you supervise them.

If you need fuel oil, go with Evans in Summit Hill as an alternative - they are cheaper.
