When it comes to plumbers, you just don't get anything better than John at Hildebrandt Plumbing.

If you've read my previous reviews, you know that I hold on to his phone number like grim death. When you have a plumbing issue, after all, it is as if you're staring the Grim Reaper directly in the face. It isn't pretty, and you want to escape that desperate feeling as quickly as possible.

Once again we needed help due to a severe exterior leak that was going at a rate of 13 gallons per hour (per my water district info). OMG. Choke! That, my friends, is a serious leak. Called John, and literally within 2 hours, he was here at the house.

After much digging, investigating and research (along with his helper), a cracked joint in the underground pipe from the water meter to the house was discovered. Within hours (yes, plumbing issues take time to resolve), everything was repaired and we were back in business.

Support small businesses! Hildebrandt Plumbing has been my go-to plumber for more years than I can count, and it's because of service such as this that I will continue to call John with ANY and EVERY plumbing issue we encounter.

I had a great experience with this company. The crew they sent out was very polite and very respectful. The pricing was very reasonable. I had multiple, very tiny gas leaks through a 2 story house and they fixed every single one of them. The leaks had been there since the house was built (poorly installed lines) and the gas company shut me down when they came to upgrade the meter. No other plumbing company I called wanted to touch the job or wanted to charge an outrageous fee. These guys are top notch and I already have recommended them to all my friends and family.

Very prompt callback for my late night plumbing issue. John came out quickly, was polite, answered all my questions, and fixed my shower issue very nicely. His price was reasonable given the late night call out and he was able to quote it on the phone - no bait and switch! Definitely a professional and trustworthy plumber!

Read all these great reviews, called to have someone come out and give me an estimate on a new water heater (current water heater is leaking badly) and was told it might be later today or tomorrow and there is an $80 fee. Not at all the service I was expecting. Very disappointed!

These people came to try and fix a leak at my home. After the third time out they never fixed it. Mainly because they didn't have the right parts on the truck. The third time out to fix the same leak they start talking about charging me double time and not under warranty to fix the same leak they didn't have the intelligence to fix. I had to get the parts from lowes and I fixed it myself. I live and learn. BEWARE

Poor company work ethics. This guy, John picks and choses what he wants to do and who he wants to do the work for. First time I called he can't get to me for a week, then when that time comes he told me he's booked for 2 to 3 more weeks, obviously doesn't want the job. I had my neighbor call and he scheduled her job right away. Interesting.

He gave an accurate estimate before he started, explained things as work progressed, and was just plain pleasant to work with.
