In my first three years of eight in the plumbing industry, I focused on clearing mainlines, digging trenches, and understanding plumbing systems that date back a century. Afterward, I worked for two years at J.R. Pierce and Prestige, where I learned to oversee large teams and manage multimillion-dollar jobs. Recently, I have worked largely on my own, with a boss who permitted me to bid and oversee the plumbing components of multimillion-dollar jobs.

Currently, I focus entirely on managing Hightower Plumbing Systems.

I am 29 and have been working in plumbing since I turned 19. I work seven days a week to save for a home and start a family. Having parents who are independent contractors or business owners has shaped my path in this field since I was a kid. That’s why I pursued business management at Sonoma State right after graduating from Granite Bay High School with a 3.2 GPA.

I gained experience quickly through various plumbing roles and contractors, each with over 30 years in the industry. This was reinforced through repetition until I reached a point of minimal errors. My former employers trained me in ways that helped their businesses while also imparting valuable lessons on effective company management.
