I have used Highsmith & Daughters for many years now and they have always been outstanding. But today Matthew went above and beyond any expectations. I was having a new refrigerator delivered and when the delivery people were hooking up the water line it sprung a leak. I immediately called Matthew and he was there within the hour fixing the problem.

We had a problem with our tankless water heater where water was gushing from the drain pipe. We called this company because they had been so nice and responsive when we used them for some routine service in the past. They talked me through what I needed to do to stop the immediate problem. Since it was already evening and no real issue, they told us that they would send someone first thing in the morning. And they did! They were quick, honest and very helpful. We will definitely use them again.

I have been using Matt and the guys for 20 years one way or another and they are amazing plumbers for sure but this review is not about them it is about their unsung hero, office manager Phyllis.
My wife noticed our kitchen sink was not flowing. I took apart all the piping from the disposal to the wall and it was clean as a whistle. Neither of us were thrilled trying to get a plumber just before 4th of July weekend. I called Highsmith, left a message and Phyllis got right back to me. Told her the problem. She said they were super busy, holiday not helping, doing big jobs. I may have groaned loud enough for her to hear. I asked and she recommended a near by plumber but then started to ask me detailed questions regarding this clog. She reccomend that I go outside by the kitchen window and see if there was a clean out. Now I'm a super handy guy and that just never occurred to me but I could see where she was going. I told her I would call her back. Found the clean out, gross, snaked it, flushed it with a hose and it was good to go. Elated I called Phyllis back thanking her profusely for making a potentially awful day, a real nice day. So thanks again Phyllis it's just not the guys who are plumbers.

They've done a good job for us on several occasions. I believe the owner is Matt, he did the work, things went great and were reasonably priced.

The reason we likely will not work with them again is because our most recent appointment had significant scheduling issues and the pricing seemed unreasonable. They rescheduled last minute multiple times, in one case hours after we expected them to arrive, and we had to call them to find out what was going on. Once they did arrive (4 days later) the issue turned out to be a clog between the garbage disposal and dishwasher. It was an easy fix (took him 5 minutes), yet the charge was over $150 for labor. I will say, the plumber (not Matt) did explain up front that was a standard price, so I could have declined. It just seemed excessive, especially given much larger work Matt had done for us (replacing all shower fixtures with new high quality parts) for not much more than that.

A great 5-star experience. I came home to find the pipe under my sink was leaking and the value that shuts off the water under the sink did not work. It was late on a Saturday. Matt came out the same day I contacted them, and his quote was very reasonable. I'm so relieved to find a great plumber that I can depend on. I highly recommend Highsmith and Daughters Plumbing.

During a load of laundry we had a massive leak, water everywhere!!! I called Highsmith and Daughters right away (this was the second time I used them). They were super busy but were able to squeeze us in and sent someone the next day. Matt came wearing a mask which I appreciated. He was personable and fixed our problem. I did a load of laundry and it seems fine. I felt price for the job was fair. I'll definitely call this company again!

I had an emergency plumbing problem (Water Heater), I called and gave them the information to get me a new Water Heater, A technician Trenton , was at my house within the hour with a new heater and parts to complete the Job. I discussed the price on the phone, after first looking online for what a new heater would cost. I was happily surprised that it was almost the same price researched. Trenton was very personable, professional, and fast, he completed the job, cleaned up the area and I was extremely happy with the service, I wish I known of this company for previous jobs I had, but will be the first company I call next time I need a real professional company.
